Westpac Branch Gungahlin

Very good experience.
Lu zheng gave me very good information about banking.
She was soulful and speak from heart.
She help me a lot.

Good customer service is a rarity these days but not at this Gungahlin Westpac branch. I opened up a new account recently and the service was exemplary. I’m elderly & the lass that assisted me was efficient, warm & patient. If you are requiring excellent service don’t go past this branch!

Although staff were busy helping other customers, they were friendly and helpful when asked for information which they provided quickly in a friendly and fuss free manner.

Crystal was kind, helpful, and professional. She made our experience easy.

Branch has all the services but it's a little cramped

I was extremely happy with services I received front desk 2 girls and their boss my matters was solved in one hour. Unfortunately I was not happy becuse it's two time my card has been stack I deposited moeny the night befor so the machine started playing up so couldn't get my moeny back . So I have to come the next morning spent more the 2 hours becuse I live far .AtM need service

Most appalling service & disrespect to customer time. Waited in line to request to see a specialist, the teller kept re-asking several times to repeat the purpose of visit and was hesitant we needed to see anyone, then told us to sit to wait to be seen. 30 mins later he tells us there isn’t anyone available to see us today, so we have to book an appointment for the next day. And you didn’t know that when you initially told us to wait?!?! Wasted time, when we could have driven to another branch before it closed. Disrespected & wasted our time.

The Asian staff have no manners and will actively argue with you if you want to withdraw your own money. This is the worst branch I've ever had the displeasure of visiting.

Customer: Hello, I'd like to withdraw some money please.
Staff: *eye roll*, we don't have enough funds sorry.

Seriously? You're a bank, not a maybe-a-bank. All the staff need to either be trained on some basic manners and customer skills or maybe they need to stop hiring people fresh off the boats!

Zero stars.

ATM marked as accepting deposits counted the money and spat it back out saying it can't take deposits, no signs up saying that none of the atms can currently take deposits

Non professional staff and does not k ow anything. Had a pre booked appointment and I was served after 30 minutes of my time. Still the person didn’t know what he has to do. I’m not a banker but I had to continuously ask him about what he requires and only then he checked what document he really need.
Waste of my time

Don't know how to look after mortgaged holders! Pathetic

Avoid going too this branch at all costs, I have been trying to get my home refinanced for 7 months now and have hit issue after issue due to incompetence and untrained staff. I originally meet with Swaminathan Sathiavageeswaran he had poor customer service, continually lost my documents hardly answered the phone. When I did schedule a meeting with him he was forever leaving the booth to go and deal with other customer documents.

Westpac may boast about having the lowest interest rates but that obviously comes at a cost of poor customer service and untrained staff. Save yourself the time and go to a different bank.

My partner and I had an appointment locked in for 9am on a Saturday with the Specialist, Swaminathan Sathiavageeswaran. When we arrived we noticed that someone else took our spot (he gave our appointment to a friend of his instead). I asked why our appointment was so delayed and all they could say is, "Sorry, we tried telling him already". I ended up leaving. This is terrible customer service and is unacceptable. Having to wait more than 30 minutes for an appointment that was already scheduled is ridiculous, especially considering it was scheduled for one week ago. Mr Swaminathan Sathiavageeswaran has no consideration for other people's time and the other Gungahlin Westpac employees do nothing to help. What a waste of my time.
