The staff and the level of professionalism they display and treat me with is always outstanding. David and his team in the recovery section were brilliant. The admitting Nurses, specialists, and my surgeon Dr Steer, Awesome!

I had an amazing first surgery experience getting Gastric Sleeve by Victor Liew and team. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed. Walking the corridors and the amazing art work was cool too. I'd definitely go back there for some time away from the kids for some sleep and R&R.

Went in for day surgery yesterday, all staff were great from check in to aftercare and the process was efficient. On coming out of general the nurse that I had was incredibly helpful, kind, patient and helped with discharge papers quickly so my wife could make it with 1 year old before school pickup. It seems like general comments but this nurse went above and beyond in helping me, she made me feel like a person not a number in a process and this was very much appreciated. The discharge papers don't have a name but the signature looks like KW - unsure if discharge signee same as nurse helping on discharge but if the hospital knows this nurse she was amazing. Thank you

Huge thank you to the nurses (including student nurses), physio therapists, dietitians, speech therapists and all the amazing support staff on ward one. You have taken amazing care of my mum. Everyone is so compassionate from cleaning staff through to the doctors. I'm grateful.

I have had 3 surgeries at Gold Coast Private Hospital, 2 were knee replacement surgeries and one an ear drum repair. The have found the care and treatment from staff, doctors, nurses, physios, X-ray, rehab, domestic and office staff have been first class. Happily advise anyone reading this to feel confident that their needs will be taken care of.

I underwent a day procedure at the Gold Coast Private Hospital and the experience was excellent. The reception staff were all very polite, professional and cheerful and the nursing and theatre staff were incredibly efficient with an upbeat and happy attitude. My doctor (Dr Olga Ellison) is extremely knowledgeable and kept me informed and at ease during my entire time at the hospital. Overall, I had a very positive experience and I highly recommend the Gold Coast Private Hospital to anyone who is considering undergoing a procedure at this facility.

I am a female 71 yrs of age and in recovery yesterday from a Colonoscopy I had the most wonderful female nurse who asked me what I would like to eat and I said just cheese and crackers will do as I don’t like cold sandwiches. She said I can make it a toastie for you which nobody at any hospital has ever offered to do. Simple but delicious. What a wonderful service and exceptional staff which I appreciated . Thank you so much.

We had an unexpected extended stay in the paediatrics ward recently and I couldn't speak more highly of the staff and the facilities. The nursing team ensured we were kept updated, reassured, and calmed us during our stay. The facilities from the play room, the foyer, the Cafe, all were at a high standard.

Absolutely the best care. The surgeons, doctors and nurses are all so amazing. Non judgemental and just want to help. Excellent bedside manner from everyone. With 3 admissions in the same month at the beginning of the year, the care received was by far exceptional.

My wife was admitted for 2 days at the Gold Coast Private Hospital. I couldn't put in to words how grateful we are for every nurse,doctor and other staff who took great care of us while we were there. Nurses were super friendly,compassionate and caring. Even staff members who does the cleaning,transporting of patients and delivering food were very kind. Everyone made sure that my wife gets the proper care she needs. Endorsements are done properly and doctors are great and patient in explaining every procedure,details about what's happening and also what may happen. They made sure we understand. Every staff member involve with our stay in the hospital were doing there job well and not just well but they do there job passionately. I feel like they do things not just for the sake of doing it because it's there job but they do it because they love what they are doing. We may forget their names and their faces, but surely we will never forget how they made us feel. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you so much Gold Coast Private Hospital. You deserve more than 5 stars. Thank you to every staff involved especially to nurses in ward #12 🙏 ❤ God bless you!

I can only vouch for the admissions theatre and ward 7 staff over the period 16 -20 May 23.
What a well oiled machine! Exceptional nursing from all of the staff, particularly Anna, Chantell, Krystle, Hayley and Liti.
The auxiliary staff who cleaned the room, made the tea or delivered meals a big thumbs up also.

Went in for wrist surgery and an overnight stay.
From admission to discharge all the staff were amazing and very helpful.
Food was also excellent .

I spent 3 nights in GC Private last week. The nursing staff were really lovely and care coordination of my two issues was outstanding. I saw my 2 specialists within 24 hours and all tests were done quickly. The food was nice and had several choices for each meal.

I was highly impressed coming from Sydney at the quality, care and speed at which I was admitted, transferred and operated on today. I was made feel comfortable and the whole process was sooooooo much faster than 2 Sydney hospitals I have been operated in. Not only that I was allowed to have my phone on me from go to so and didn’t have 1 single bad experience. I would go back here if needed and want to thank the staff for their awesome work. Cheers as well to Dr. Matthew Alfredson for his prompt follow up to my surgery. I really felt like I was in a first world hospital and wasn’t just a number. Thanks to the nurses as well for being awesome.

I was very well taken care of when admitted 6 days ago,unable to breathe & having a minor heart attack.
The meals were great & I can’t thank,or praise my main Nurses,Di & team (on Ward 2)
along with Patrick & team (on Ward 11),
enough,for the exceptional care I received.

I had an amazing experience with staff and facilities during my surgery and recovery 3 weeks ago and also this week with my little one in emergency , staff and the paediatric were 10/10 and listened to me and helped get my little girl better , very sad to hear your closing the paediatric team down soon , the facilities were amazing for us parents and little ones , devastated now that’s I’ll have to drive and go elsewhere in future for my kids when I’ve really felt cared for here by those lovely staff X

Have been twice in the last four weeks - one for emergency surgery with my son and one for personal surgery. Both admissions were amazing and I can't say how fabulous the staff were from start to finish. The ward nurses were delightful in both stays, friendly attentive and caring as were all of the theatre staff as well. Very impressed with each stay and would absolutely recommend.
