Hog's Breath Cafe Surfers Paradise

WONDERFUL. I was skeptical after seeing reviews but wow they’re wrong. My partner, Son and I ate here tonight. The server who greeted us was a polite young guy and the 2 girls who frequented our table - a blonde and a brunette who I regrettably didn’t get names of- were so attentive and kind! Amazing table service and THE FOOD. Cheesy garlic bread with SO MUCH CHEESE YUM!! My partner had the famous rib eye - incredible. Soft as butter and the gravy was delicious. I had the chicken and ribs; I’ve never had juicier chicken in my life. The ribs were falling apart and my son even stole half - the world’s pickiest eater begged me for them! Hogs breath need to update the Mac and cheese they use as it’s clearly nothing special and I left 99% of mine behind but other than that I couldn’t be happier to spend what we did - it’s worth it for the quality of the service and food!

I went there just for the ribs. It waq really good. May be a bit too much meat and not enough vegetables but hell that was good.

Not sure what the other reviews were about but my visit was really good. walked in with a party of 6 and every single one of their foods was delicious. they said it was possibly the best steak sandwich and parmi they've had. mac and cheese (side) missed the mark though but it wasn't a deal breaker. curly fries were so good.
had a bit of a misunderstanding towards the end with an extra charge but Ben the manager sorted it out immediately no questions and was very polite about it. Great visit, would go again.

Fabulous looking place, with a beautiful interior, featuring lots of polished wood.

Extensive Menu with many options to suit almost everyone. Also offers a good kids menu.

The dishes we ordered were wonderfully presented and were delicious.

Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Especially Jordan, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Delicious well priced meals. Friendly, helpful and prompt service. Children friendly. Relaxing atmosphere, definitely recommend Hog's Breath Cafe.

After a poor experience at a Melbourne Hogs I was reluctant to try another… but I’m glad I did!!

Surfers Hogs was amazing. Food was out in a reasonable time, although despite asking for kids meals to come out first/a little quicker they came out with the mains which meant the kids were getting a bit bonkers!

Troppo Burger and Calamari Steak on the cards, and both were really good value for money and the steak was cooked perfectly. The kids meals were good size too and they loved the curly fries. Good to see they came with Vegies… although mum and dad ended up most of them.

Forgive me as it’s been a week but the supervisor (I think Kianni?) was lovely and really accommodated us. Overall I’m very glad I gave hogs another go. A very different experience and a far better one at that. Will be making sure we go again next time we are in Surfers!

Daniel was a great help to me and my table group give him a raise. He is onto everything. The food was great me personally had a steak and curly fries which that meal was gone in 10 minutes it was that good. highly recommended the Mac and cheese and as a side on what ever meal you get. Desert this desert was incredible me personally had the sticky date pudding and the rest of my family had the same once again shout out to Daniel give him a raise making jokes and the table didn’t miss a single thing we said so If you go here have a great great time.

Long member of Hog's breath here. I have always tried local Hog's breath cafes in QLD for more than 15 years now. Hog's breath in Surface paradise has been always my #1 HG since they were in the basement. I took my non-Aussie cousin's family to 'this' HG Café specifically to give them the best Aussie steak experience. We felt welcome by young servers that night even though they looked short staffed. Food was on time and, most importantly, steak was cooked perfectly as we requested. Good on those young folks who served us. You did not make me a liar about Aussie steak! Keep it up so that I can bring my other family here! 😀 visited on 29tg/Aug/23 around 7.

Food was great and very tasty. Loved the place with their unique vintage furnitures. And also loved the waiter who assisted us with our order (Jordy). Vegetables were also fresh and the steak was cooked accordingly to our preference. They also followed the covid19 guidelines. Overall loved the entire place and food. Planning on coming back soon to taste their other food. Kinda pricey but worth it. The service was quick.

I had just finished buying a PowerHit from the lovely staff at NewsXpress Southport park and decided to get some dinner at this fine establishment. Subpar expectations were shattered after being served by a young lady named Karrin (red hair 🧑‍🦰), especially with the Jack Daniels and apple drink recommendation, which stunned me to my core (apple core 🍏, get it! Haha!).
My winnings have sure paid off tonight, haha 😂🥲! I’ll be sure to buy Karrin an overseas cruise 🚢 once I come back after I win the lotto (gotta be in it to win it)!

We had such a great experience at Hogs Breath Surfers! Ethan was an amazing host and looked after our table well.. food was fresh and delicious.. highly recommend.

Great food and really good service considering how busy they were. They delivered our food exactly as ordered. The mudslide cocktail was delicious as were the smoke house chicken wings. Highly recommended restaurant.

Went for the first time with my family and we all loved it. The staff were really nice and we enjoyed our food! I ordered the vegan wrap, my family had the chicken parmigiana and fish and chips, they all loved it.

Definitely an all time classic - Hogs can never go wrong. Even on a super busy Surfers Paradise Saturday night like Seafire, the service was impeccable with a very short waiting time.
Food is always fresh and the customer service is second to none. Known for it's amazing steak, the chicken ranch salad, salt & pepper calamari and sticky date pudding is DELISH!

Just had the most friendliest of service from a young lady Alicia. Upsold me a few items which was great. Very clean restaurant and the food was delicious. I will be returning again for dinner.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Patience is essential as they are understaffed. Still, sat right away, order taken within 10 minutes and meal arrived in good time. Shared the ribs and a sunday. Great value.

Went during school holidays with my family and we loved it! Staff are very nice and happy to be there. I ordered the Prime Rib Reef and Beef and it was amazing, best steak i've had in a while. The Kids loved the place as well, they got the Kids steak with curly fries. Thank you Alana for being an amazing server!
