Delicious food 😋 Dinner time on the weekend can be quite busy so had to wait for the food to come. Other than that, perfect!

Mr. Kojima bento lunches are the best kept secret at the Gold Coast. I can't believe the amount of food you get for $18.50.

They have the best chicken teriyaki. I've tried almost everything in the menu and most of it is good, but the chicken teriyaki is out of this world!

The kingfish Carpaccio and tuna tartar on crispy rice are not too be missed.

Absolutely delicious. We did the $65 menu they just bring you lots of their best selling dishes and so glad we did this to try different things, and was great value. Lovely staff also 😊

Incredible experience. From the moment we entered we were greeted with a friendly smile and instant attention to get us settled in and sat at our table. Food was delicious! We can most definitely recommend the short beef ribs, they were heavenly. Meals were fairly priced, as well as drinks, of which they had a decent selection. Will 100% be recommending and returning again.

My husband and I enjoyed delicious meals here that tasted authentic.
We really enjoyed the mochi ice and banana spring roll dessert.
5 star place but I would dock points because this restaurant charges for sparkling water and they don't tell you about it until you pay the bill.

Absolutely Amazing.
We randomly walked in when on holidays and they offered us Omakase - where they pick the dishes - thought why not? Amazing value and amazing food! Some of the best I have had. I don't always love Japanese food but this was exceptional. Great night, great service, great food and drink knowledge by the team and Amazing cocktails. Loved it 🥰

We had THE BEST meal at Mr Kojima. And with THE BEST service this place will be a regular for us. We had decision fatigue and ended up ordering the 'omakase' and what a delight. Every single dish was superb and cooked to perfection. SO MUCH FLAVOUR in every bite. Can't wait to try more of the menu. My husband and I have travelled around Japan multiple times and this place felt so genuine. Loved it.

Unassumingly fantastic! The food is excellent, some of the best meat-based dishes we've had. We ordered a wide range of dishes, all great, but particularly recommend the pork belly; absolutely fantastic. Service was wonderful too, with the manager (or I assume he is) being particularly attentive. Will be back!

A wonderful experiences at Mr Kojima. We have a big table for Birthday party. All every dishes are so yummy and very well present. All dishes especially seafood e.g scallop, squid, etc are so tasty. Also, Lovely to meet with John and he take care of us very very well.

All dishes are like a special, we will definitely come back and order all these again. Staffs are super friendly. Its like we found this little gem of Japanese cuisine in the Gold Coast.

Went here as a last minute walk in on a Saturday night. First thing when we walked in, we were greeted politely. Even though they were busy, they managed to get us seated inside almost right away. We were given menus and took up a cocktail reconmandation while we decided. The waitress was very knowledgeable with the menu items. Food came out in a timely manner and was prepared to perfection. It was absolutely delicious with the right amount to share and be satisfied. We were running late on time. Otherwise, we would have stayed for another cocktail and dessert. The sizzling waygu was so tender and tasty that I'm getting hungry writing this. Staff were awesome. I'll be back for sure.

The food is delicious! My partner and I had an enjoyable time at Mr Kojima.
This little restaurant was busy and buzzing, it also had moody lighting & a good atmosphere. Great choices on the menu... we had the Salmon Avocado roll (loved these), Sashimi Moriawase (all sorted fresh fish), Chicken yakitori , Wagyu Gyoza (beef + mushrooms) , Peppered squid , Broccolini , Salmon Teriyaki. Each dish was done very well and brought to our table one after the other so we didn't wait long for the next dish to come out. Celine took great care of us , really appreciate her service. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family for a nice intimate & tasty outing . We are looking forward to coming back for dinner.

We have been going to Mr Kojima for a while now. They have the most consistent restaurant on the coast, they always deliver on fresh produce, happy and engaging atmosphere and all around a lovely experience. The sushi is amazing and all meat is great quality and cooked perfectly.

They are very fair on price and is an absolute must. Support this excellent local business

We loved our visit, once again, to Mr Kojima. It’s our ‘must go’ restaurant each time we stay at the Gold Coast. Food, service, atmosphere are consistently excellent. If we could eat there every week, we would! Thanks again guys. ⭐

Quick Sunday lunch. Sensational service, food was amazing. We had the Beef Gyoza, JFC Chicken & Salt n Pepper Calamari. Yum yum yum!! Keep up the good work guys!!

We had such a great experience here. We ordered the omakase menu, and it was great value and the portions were generous. Thanks to our waiter who was also very accommodating and helpful.
