Great little place. Nice pool. Lovely owners.
Air con works great!
Very quiet considering its on a main road.
Highly recommend this to anyone.
We stayed for a week and loved that we didn't have to worry about our room being serviced everyday.
Extra towels and blankets were in cupboards.
Nice and hot water.
Shops close by with everything in walking distance.

Fantastic friendly service. Loved that it is dog friendly and very accepting of your pet. Room is good for an older motel. Air con is positioned in an odd spot so can't really feel it making a big difference. Good location. Definitely would stay here again.

The staff were so so friendly, loved that it’s pet friendly and I could have my little dachshund in here. For an old motel it’s clean and inviting with its tea and coffee it has a mini fridge and a microwave, some motels can’t even offer those basics oh and it also smelt clean and not like animals. I would stay here again

Wow! What can i say... I have had 5 weeks staying here. Peta & Mark, thank you so much for everything thing. Each time I have stayed you have made me feel so welcome. The rooms are clean and casual making you feel at ease, air conditioning excellent and Peta and Mark are just so helpful.

Peta and Mark work tirelessly to provide a safe, clean, well maintained and engaging environment within which they are ever present without encroaching. A Great Motel. Modern TV, Furniture and amenities. Nice cold airconditioning in room and some very comfortable beds. There's free tea, coffee, milk and sugar provided in room, as well as toilet paper, soap and towels. Very peaceful and private property and much parking close to the front door of room. Can request smoking rooms as well, something of a rarity nowadays. Also the price per night is very reasonable. Overall I am very happy with my stay, and I would definately stay again. Peta was amazing (i was.locked out on new years eve and she left a party to help me out and got me into my room).

Definitely recommend if you're looking for a not so expensive getaway in GC.

I stayed at the Sunburst hotel for 2 weeks with my dog they are very pet friendly and accomadating...
Comfortable, clean, excellent service and an awesome, beautifully maintained pool.
Also very close to Surfers Paradise and Cafe, restaurants, highly recommended.

Fantastic motel, super friendly staff, walking distance to the Broadwater...Charis seafood and Harbourtown Shopping centre. Best value and service on the Coast.

Great friendly management clean rooms air con in the room rooms serviced weekly the only problem was the rent was too much for me to afford sadly on my own My dog absolutely loved her too.
