Sushi Train Southport

For some reason we like coming to the Southport Sushil train over their other stores even though Nerang is our closest currently. If you arrive during the week between 2-5pm it's often quiet and you get the pick of tables and oodles of plate choice. The staff are friendly and accommodating, even the food prep team working in full view of the booths are always smiling and happy. We spend a conservative $100 here for 3 people with drinks and dessert and think that is good value for healthy eating.

This is a very good Sushi Train. Located off Ferry Road Southport in the Small shopping complex where Rasoi Master is.

Large and clean, with nice decor and many seating options.

Plenty of friendly, helpful and efficient staff on hand.

Lots of variety on the revolving train. Many Sashimi offerings along with Tempura, Aburi, Vegetarian, Spicy and Deserts.

The dishes I selected were very good. Also had a hot Green Tea, which was great.

One yummy sushi, two friendly staff, three clean restaurant, four nice ambience, five delicious tea, six fast service, seven convenient location, eight easy parking, nine reasonable price, ten rewarding loyalty programme.

Ten out of ten, extremely great experience today we had would definitely call again to enjoy nice late weekend lunch, would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and everyone.

One little thing to add is that the music, welcoming chant and staff responding shout bit too overwhelming a little bit too noisy but given all other aspect very enjoyable, 10/10 ~!!

My brother left his seal toy from seaworld at the table and when we we’re leaving in carpark a lovely employee ran out and returned it to us before we drove off

Fantastic quality and lovely staff. Lunch rush can be quite busy but worth the wait. New phone ordering system works well.

Sushi train has a reputation for being cheap and over priced. But there is none of that knock off, 90% rice, cheap fish cuts nonsense here.. Just very nice, fast, well seasoned sushi.

It's definitely worth it.
The atmosphere is clean and friendly, although a little crowded. But, take away is just as delicious, if not even more yummy 🥰

My partner and I went here for dinner while on holidays. It was amazing. We shared a total of 18 plates it was so good. The Goyza and spring rolls were freshly cooked and amazing. Also enjoyed the chicken meatballs. The service was lovely. Highly recommend.

Excellent sushi, especially for a chain restaurant. Their unagi sushi is the best I've had outside of Japan and their fish is always fresh. Two gripes - you have to ask for wasabi as well as tea which you have to pay for, and their uni (sea urchin) is always bitter.

This is our favourite spot for all our family birthdays. The food is always exceptional and the ordering system for the table is simple to use. Our kids love their member card and getting stamps and prizes after visits.

I went to this sushi train recently and it was a good experience. The food was delicious and the service was great. I would definitely recommend it to others who are looking for a quick and convenient meal.

Food were nice and tasty. Ordering from where you sit is so easy by using the the QR code on the table and a smartphone, which will bring you straight to an ordering page. Food also freshly made and very good quality. The only gripe I have if I must have one is the distance of the toilet, but I will say it is most probably due to landlord covering the shortcut. Other than that I am very pleased customer.

Easily the Best sushi on the Gold Coast. Chefs specials are next level. The freshness, presentation and chef skills remind me of eating in Japan. Highly recommend

Great sushi. Always fresh and delicious. Allowed as much kewpie mayo and Terriyaki sauce as you want for free. Great price range for variety and also great drink options . Sometimes a bit of a wait but always well worth the wait. Specials are changing weekly and are always great and worth the extra bit of money.
