Grand Dynasty Yumcha and Seafood Restaurant

Really amazing. Food was exceptional and alone worthy of the five stars, but the service was next-level. Hard to fault any of the team but Zibby was the real star, brilliantly sassy and in total control from the second you set sight on the restaurant.

We recently tried yum cha for the first time at Grand Dynasty Yum Cha and Seafood Restaurant, and we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. Our meal included a variety of dishes: scallops and prawn dumplings, steamed spare ribs with black bean sauce, steamed chicken feet with black bean sauce, deep-fried squid tentacles, stir-fried long beans, deep fried glutinous balls with pork mince, deep fried prawns bean curd skin roll, steamed rice noodles with fried dough, and egg tarts.

Every dish we ordered was not only tasty but also beautifully prepared. What made our experience even more enjoyable was the warm and humorous demeanor of the boss. Their friendly and light-hearted interactions added a special touch to our meal.

However, one small suggestion for improvement would be to replace the mayo with sweet fruity mayo to accompany the deep-fried bean curd prawns. This change could elevate the flavors even further.

Overall, our experience at Grand Dynasty was delightful, and we look forward to returning to savor more of their delicious offerings. If you’re a fan of yum cha and seafood, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

Great place for some Chinese/Cantonese foods. Friendly staff and extra care displayed by complimentary snacks (shrimp crackers at the start and fortune cookies at the end). The food was quite tasty too although a tad pricey (To be fair, I guess it is the case in GC most of the times).

Found the most delightful Chinese spot thanks to Zibby's charm (the waitress) & killer noodles. Tripe melted in my mouth, the brewed tea soothed my soul, & that very strong shot 56%?!...
An experience, not just a meal!

You got to try this one. We would highly recommend their Yum Cha to anyone who love Cantonese food, because they are purely handmade and very tasty. We’ve been tried Yum Cha & Dim Sum in many counties and we will give 5+ to this restaurant. Very happy parents and children.

Thank you for the meal and lovely service team! The food was better than our expectations. Coming from Melbourne, I was scared of the taste and quality of the food. However, what a great surprise! All dumpling were well seasoned. The Egg Tart was soft on inside, and crispy on the outside - a beautiful way to finish our meal! Highly recommended.

Attentive, accommodating and very genuine hosts, cannot recommend Grand Dynasty enough. We had dinner last as a group of 7. Booked by phone earlier in the day and was pleasant surprised they were able to accommodate. We ordered Pecking Duck, BBQ Pork, King Prawns with Veggies, Beef and Black Bean, Fried Rice, Lemon Chicken and a host of dumplings. The drinks order was filled immediately, and the entrees were on the table in 5 minutes. The mains start coming out shortly after with the host preparing the Pecking Duck pancakes at the table. The party got some great photos of a master at his best….
The food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful, no one went home hungry. Arguably the best Chinese Restaurant in Broadbeach, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Here for the weekend, All dishes we ordered are better than Melbourne restaurants, First time here for Yumcha may be back for dinner if time permits. The waiters are attentive provide good services. Will come again…..the chicken feet is outstanding I enjoy very much ….😋😋😋

This place exceeded our expectations and was our best find in terms of places to eat. We ended up coming here 3 times during our 4-day trip on the Gold Coast. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious - in particular their seafood and egg white sauce noodles.

The staff were also friendly and attentive. It gets very busy at night so bookings are recommended.

The service is excellent, we were well received and looked after with fresh free prawn crackers.
Entree and mains were full of flavours and very tasty. All dishes were cooked to perfection.

Best Chinese meal I have had on the Gold Coast.
Went in for Xmas lunch and it was packed. Their staff were running off their feet but did a great job of getting the food out quick enough.
Had a feast of yum cha dumplings, Crispy Skin Chicken, flat noodles, salt and pepper short ribs and special fried rice. All delicious.

Great place. Beautifully decorated. EXCELLENT service! Went with my family, of four. They were very busy, on the night, and asked to move our table, while having our dinner... The host offered us complimentary desert, which wasn't necessary, but very much appreciated. Every one in the restaurant looked to be having a good time. We had a great meal and recommended that you go there. We'll done!

Best chinese meals I have had. Sweet & sour pork very good. Crispy duck and plum sauce with vegetable fried rice was great. Good service too.

This place is awesome! Great tasting fresh food. Extensive menu options. Fabulous atmosphere and lovely staff. We had Banquet A and even though it states minimum of 4 people, they were happy to allow just the two of us to order that option. Will definitely be back again!

Groundwater Festival was the 3rd time we've dined at Grand Dynasty whilst visiting the Gold Coast over the past 12 months. Definitely the best Yumcha, and by far the only restaurant in Broadbeach worth dining at in my opinion. Always great service, nice friendly staff, awesome menu and ice cold beer. We've pretty much worked our way through the entire menu and find it hard to pick favourites as every thing is delicious. Highly recommend Grand Dynasty Yumcha Broadbeach ( Oasis complex). And, if you want to also enjoy a discount on your meal, it's less for cash 👍

Absolutely delicious yum cha experience! The variety of dishes was impressive, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance was lovely, creating a relaxing atmosphere for a delightful meal. Will definitely be coming back for more yum cha goodness!

All Food was Delicious, Entree, Mains and Dessert. Service was Fantastic and Atmosphere Perfect. Prices were reasonable. We are from Sydney NSW, differently Recommending this Restaurant.

Dined in for yum cha with my partner. We had such a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delightful and the pricing is also fair. We will be back for sure!

The atmosphere looked amazing so we decided to have dinner.
Service from our waitress Zibby out outstanding, So attentive and friendly.
Food was great. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

We had the best time at Grand Dynasty. The food was delicious and authentic. The staff were great especially Zibby who gave us complimentary dessert of mango pancake. Excellent experience! Thank you for having us
