Room is clean, spacious with comfortable queen bed, AC, heater, TV, electric kettle, small table, chair, wash basin in room and attached bathroom.
The manager is a kind, humble and friendly gentleman, willing to go above and beyond to assist guests with any needs.
Excellent customer service🙂

Very much enjoyed my stay in Ibis Budget Canberra. Despite close proximity to Highway my room was super quiet. Very clean and tidy. Had absolutely everything I could need. Excellent check in with very helpful and friendly staff nember. And by using my accumulated points I got to stay for $60 a night in our Capital City. Can’t argue with that value.

We stay here often on long trips , it's a good overnight pit stop. Comfortable beds clean rooms, basic accommodation but good for when you just need to sleep then continue on.

The hotel staff in Canberra is very friendly at all times, always providing relevant information both about the reservation and suggestions of what could be done in the city, the room is something according to the price, with television, a bar-type refrigerator, a kettle , something comfortable, perhaps the "negative" point is that if you do not have a vehicle (my case) the city's public transport does not leave you so close, since the hotel is a little far from the town center, but it is a very quiet place and so full of nature.

Location is a bit far from the city but isn't a problem if you have a car. Rooms are small but have everything you need. AC and hot water worked great. Recepcionists are very friendly and happily answer any doubts you may have. We paid for the continental breakfast and it was okay. The pancake machine is a great addition and they came out really good :)

Basic rooms, but we only slept there as we were out all day. Bargain prices, quiet, Very friendly and helpful staff, Jea nnie fantastic, with local places to go.

Cheap and cheerful. The rooms are small but they make efficient use of the space. The only complaint I would have is there could have been more charging points. Overall, I am glad I stayed here.

I had less than 24 hrs notice to make the drive from Sydney to Canberra for the weekend. My first choice was where I'd stayed twice previously for its price, location and the features I needed: a comfortable bed, a hot shower, and a simple check-in and check-out.

I booked a room at Ibis budget as I was looking for affordable emergency accomdation at the time. I was greeted nicely and positive by the staff at the reception. The room I had booked was just perfect for basic needs you need for a cheap affordable room etc. I had no problems at all I was very pleased. I booked another night following on and spoke to a very helpful manager at reception.
I say hands down the best management I have ever come across in my time of speaking to managers etc the manager really helped us the best he can and was wonderful and always brought us positive feedback. I'm very pleased with my experience at this accommodation and Ill definitely come back and recommend to others too. Thank you Ibis staff and management for being so helpful and wonderful during my stay :)

After our Airbnb host failed to provide checkin instructions, and the Airbnb customer service was completely useless, we made a last minute booking Ibis budget. The process was super easy, the staff member at reception was fantastic. The rooms are basic, but that is exactly what you expect. They were clean and tidy. It was great to have good easy service after the stress of having to try and find accomadation at the last minute.

Basic, but has everything you need. Clean, affordable, not a bad location. Does what it says on the tin. Would stay again. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyable stay. Oh and comfortable bed, crisp, white, clean bed linen. TV, air conditioning/heating, fridge, own bathroom and shower with shower gel etc.

This is not where I normally stay, and to say I was reticent would be an understatement, but they deliver way above the price bracket. From reception, which was welcoming and happy (sorry I missed your name) with my lovely welcome gift (scoffed rockey road), this has been a very pleasant experience. No, it's not the Hyatt but frankly the rooms are obviously cleaned within an inch of their life, which means a lot. Can not fault house keeping. Gold Star. Whiff of ammonia and lavender.
It is quiet here. Not enough power points near the bed, stops night time views, and wall heater is fine for Canberra cold.

You deliver very well Ibis for the budget and with cheer. Thank you.

If you're travelling on a quick business trip, it's a pleasant place to stay, at a reasonable price.

We were there as a family and had a great time. The staff were lovely and accommodating and made our stay very smooth. Clean room with all the essentials that we needed. Quick drive into city center and lovely walk through the bush right behind the hotel. We’d definitely stay here again on our next trip to Canberra. Matt, the general manager, went above and beyond. Thank you!

I stayed for 3 nights. Good value. Bed was comfortable.. Security it locks up at 10.00 but your card gives you access. Lots of parking. Friendly staff and will help you with everything. On the way to Goulburn I had a car.. I would stay there again. 😊

I liked it. I thought it was pretty good. I struggle with a lot of mattresses (see my other review for sofitel manila) but the queen size I had here at Ibis was excellent. No sore back! The room was hard to beat for the money. TV, bar fridge, ensuite and clean! I appreciate the efforts from the company as well to limit single use plastics by having the reusable 3 in 1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash pump bottle instead. Nice fragrance too. The only thing I could nitpick is you are about 15-20mins drive to the CBD and other than the servo next door there's nothing else immediately within a couple minutes short walking distance. However there are food options available through the hotel and if you don't mind a 20min walk max there is McDonald's up the road.

My stay at the Ibis Canberra was good. cleanroom, staff friendly and housekeeping wonderful. I was their for 3 nights close to all the essentials that I needed to stay in a disability room, which was perfect for my needs. Thank you . next trip to Canberra, I will be sure to contact the ibis. Rooms are a little small, but the bed was so comfortable. The staff could not do enough for us and were so welcoming. They even came out to meet our dogs. Perfect location for us as we were showing our dogs at Canberra Royal Show

Basic hotel but has everything you need! We just wanted to say how amazing the customer service was. The lovely gentleman who checked us in at reception remembered it was my birthday on check out day and gave me a birthday coffee. It made my morning!
They had a beautiful set up for Remembrance Day with candles and poppies. The guy who helped us had the most awesome hospitality skills and we will definitely stay again!

Cheap, clean & quiet. Plenty of easy parking.
There are stairs so if you need a ground floor room, definitely let them know when you book as there is no lift
