Little hidden gem in Leichhardt. Definitely worth the Groupon deal. The food was delicious and you can tell it was made with love and care from the small family business. The super friendly Lady serving and running tables was lovely and a pleasure to chat with. Crepes was the highlight! Highly recommend anyone looking for a nice meal out.

The pasta is an embodiment of the term «al Dante ».

Tucked in a quiet corner of Italian Forum, it is a great place to enjoy dinner away from the crowds. Yet at the same time the TV screen is there for your enjoyment of women’s soccer.

Many vegetarian options in Pasta section although there is no specific V symbol.

Generously portioned, will recommend this to anyone looking for authentic Italian food.

Just a short walk from plaza, street parking available.

Without doubt the find of the year ! Tucked away in the corner of the Italian Forum I. Leichhardt and still serving up beautiful home style Italian food for the past 26yrs . 9 of us could not stop talking about the fabulous food and top notch service from Josephine ! We all agreed to come here at least once a month. Truly magnificent! See you next month 👍

Fabulous place in the heart of mini Italy. Lovely host serving delicious food with a warm welcome and smile. Late post from our celebrations last year, we had the group on deal and the food was just amazing, we were so full and content with the pasta and the entree (stuffed mushrooms were die for) but the homemade Tirramissu dessert and the gelato was a delight.

Thank you Josephine for your attentiveness & great service last night. We were pleasantly surprised considering La Giara was the only restaurant in the forum. The food was great, barramundi & chicken was cooked perfectly. Definitely will be back, and as you know we travelled far, it was so worth it.

I see many people are not happy how their Groupon booking has been handled on the phone and was curious to see how it goes for us. Far from perfect but I had much worse experience before.

I am glad the booking didn't keep us away.

The menu option for the Groupon voucher is simple but very delicious. I am not sure about the ice cream but everything else looked and tasted homemade with love.

By the way, the only restaurant we have seen open on the Italian Forum. Very sad.

Had dinner at this charming little restaurant in the Italian Forum. Service was friendly and prompt, food was equally fresh and delicious-we’ll be back!

We just went today and were the only customer in the restaurant. I think it’s because it was hot. We were very lucky to have the place to ourselves with delicious food and drink. I’ve had the best pasta with the linguine el salmone! Highly recommend this place! The waitress also super helpful and friendly! Will come back again!

The food is amazing! Josephine is super kind and caring! The 3 course meal is great value and delicious!

Had the most amazing time celebrating our mother’s 60th birthday. I have honestly never tasted such authentic Italian, it was outstanding !!

Had a lovely experience here and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was great and would recommend the salmon carpaccio and cannoli in particular. The main was a little on the smaller side however it was expected being a part of a 3 course meal.
