Had a great feed here! We were originally planning to go somewhere else but it was closed on the day and hence we decided to give this place a go and boy were we glad we did. Delicious food in very generous portion and very reasonably priced. Will definitely come again.

Always yummy! If you are after traditional korean yummy food, this is the place!

My usual favorite is the pork bone soup! Over 10 years always taste the same! Looks spicy but it’s not that spicy with the pork bone soup, it’s just prefect.

And the side dishes? Great compliment to the dish, adds more depth to the dish. My favorite has to be the cabbage kimchi and radish.

This place always have a lot of Koreans eating, can’t be wrong if the Koreans love this place, means the taste is authentic!

The dishes were amazing. I tried the soups in Korea a few years ago and couldn’t find any place that served as delicious soup as this restaurant. The restaurant is very busy so if you want to try I would recommend to walk in early or expect the long queue.

This is a very busy Korean soup rice restaurant, most famous for their hangover soups and Soondae soup. We ordered the pork bone and the beef soup, with soondae plate.

The porkbone soup was delicious, with 4 meaty bones. The beef one was good too, although the shredded beef is a bit hidden in all the kimchi in the soup. The side dishes were all good, kkaduggi is exceptionally delicious.
Soondae plate was yum too, offals were not porky and cleaned well. I loved the Liver and stomach.

Not cheap but does satisfy the cravings.

Very authentic Korean pork soup and pork dishes. Although I have never been to the country yet but from the faces of the other Korean guests, I think they were thinking the same way.
The portion of pork feet is huge, ideal dish for gatherings.

Pretty nice pork soup I had. Went solo and had a soup and seafood pancake. Banchan was standard and acceptable. Soup came out boiling hot literally as you can see in the photo.

Would come back for casual meal but hear it can get pretty busy.

The ideal place to go to when looking to eat warm korean soup. Plenty of side dishes that help balance the flavours of the soups. Prices are affordable too (+/- $17) considering other places usually sell them for more than $20.
Had the pork bone and sundae soup- both exceptional. The pork in the pork bone soup is very soft. And the broth base for the sundae soup is very milky. Both come in big portions.

There is also a free self-service coffee and tea near the entrance. Perfect condiment when waiting for the food to arrive.

Authentic Korean food, very hard to find this kind of Korean soup in Sydney and the taste is flavourful without being too salty or sweet. Price is also really good for the amount of food you get.

Not a big stew guy, but for stew lovers this is the dream. This place has a select set options that they do very well with great portions for a good price.

For those who aren't stew heavy, there are other things you can get. I highly highly recommend the 해물파전 (seafood pancake) it's absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked with a delicious crispiness and great combination of dough and filling. Extremely tasty combined with the side dishes and dipped in the ssamjang. It's a winner.

The place feels like you're in Korea, with very authentic setting. The workers are extremely nice, despite only one or two of them being able to communicate fluently in English, but they are very understanding and accommodating. Definitely a place to go to again and again.

My go to place for pork bone soup and sundae soup. Very tasty and consistent in terms of flavours. Great service and many banchan (side dishes) which were known to be traditional for Korean food. My favourite banchan is the radish kimchi among what they offered. There is are a variety of dishes that I recommend from this restaurant:
1. The pork bone soup is mildly spicy with abundant of vegetables and the pork bones were fork-tender and fell apart easily to eat.
2. Bosam (steamed pork with veggies) and OMG... pork is tender and sweet. The squid vegetables mix was full of sesame oil flavour which I absolutely love. It comes with steamed cabbage and fresh lettuce to wrap with. DELICIOUS 😋!!
3. Sundae with assorted - steamed blood sausages with innards. Their portions are quite big so would be best to share amongst 3-4 people

This place is the originator of the 해장국 in Sydney. I have been having menus from this restaurant since 2007 in Strathfield, when the restaurant first found. This place is the best place for Korean soup varieties in Australia.

It was my first time here in this restaurant and I felt as though I was in Korea. The ambience, atmosphere and their food were so genuine in its own simplicity. Their pork broth soup was rich with various cuts of pork and their Seafood Pancake was to die for.

100% recommend on their seafood pancake.

Another local gem within Strathfield. Very authentic Korean soup cuisine and very close to ones that you would get in Korea. The small menu makes it easy to decide from their selections and they also have hot pots and share dishes. Tends to be quite busy so be prepared for the short wait outside for a free tablet.
