Davies Dr Ann Prys

I highly recommend Dr Ann Prys Davies. She was not only kind and attentive but also made me feel comfortable discussing my condition. To those who may be doubting due to the reviews, I'd encourage you not to hesitate, as my experience was truly positive.

Not sure what all these negative reviews are about! They made me unsure but Dr Davies was SO lovely when I saw her today. She was welcoming, easy to talk to and explain things to, thorough, VERY knowledgeable, and explained everything to me including different options. Both her and the receptionist were nothing but professional and kind. Will definitely stick with her going forward.

Have only been twice Ann is a Dr with compassion and caring she takes the time and is easy to talk to no matter how personal it is. Iam grateful Ann is my Dr and Liz always makes you feel welcome.

Knowledgeable, friendly and great doctor. The receptionist is also exceptional

Dr Davies is a professional, knowledgeable and caring doctor. I have been seeing her for the past 24 years and continue to travel to see her still as I had moved out of the area. Liz the office manager is always welcoming and efficient. i highly recommend them both.

Does anyone know the opening hours for this place?

I was referred from my GP for consultation because I have very irregular periods and a few other symptoms. I was ultimately advised that it is incorrect to believe that an irregular cycle is not normal and if I want one I should just take the pill, I will be getting a second opinion but fair enough. However, my rating is not for the diagnosis, it is for how weird and uncomfortable my experience was. Dr Davies and her receptionist did nothing wrong, there was just a weird vibe from the moment I stepped in the practice, she may be the best doctor on this earth, I don’t know, but she does not inspire confidence or trust or warmth or wisdom or comfort or friendliness.. I smiled and was polite but my instincts in there just said RUN the entire time... Something was just off....
So again my review is only based on personal, emotional experience as I only went for a consultation.

She was okay at first
Very rough and conducted a very painful Pap smear and tried to pressure me into taking my marina out whilst doing the Pap smear.
I had to say no 4 times whilst in obvious pain. As a gyno she should know someone with endometriosis is sore and tender 24/7, she was very rough doing the Pap smear and also whilst conducting the stomach exam. I left in more pain than arriving
Don’t recommend to anyone

I ignored the bad reviews on here thinking she can't be that bad. She was!

Not even going to give her the respect the Dr title carries.

Ann Davies is a terrible doctor who has little empathy for a patient's condition and poor manners.

All my questions regarding my condition or treatment options were met with condescension and frustration. I felt like I was taking up her time, instead of being in a consult.

Please if your GP recommends her, find someone else. She lacks the medical etiquette and the emotional intelligence to be a doctor.

She is the worst doctor I have met. She gets frustrated so easily and very judgemental. She takes no notice of what I said. When I shared my opinion she said ‘you can change the doctor’. I’ve been trying to conceive for the past 2+years and surely there is something wrong but she didn’t give any treatments nor advice. I feel like I wasted my time and I AM changing the doctor. I really don’t recommend anyone to see this doctor.

Went in once, never went back. She is not professional at all, speaks in a very condescending tone, and very judgemental. She makes assumptions. So, i have pcos, level 4 endo and blocked tubes. I have been ttc for 3 years, the only thing she could say was to lose weight and to ask my partner to have a sperm test. She hardly listened when i was speaking, didn’t ask question and was yawning all the time at 2.45pm. She was already late for the appointment by the way. I would highly NEVER recommend her, not even to my worst enemy.

I wouldnt recommend her. Appeared her knowledge was minimial & I felt her care factor was zero.
Damage caused by her I am still paying for years later.
