We ordered a takeaway from Honest Indian Restaurant, and our first experience was really good. The gentleman who took our order was really polite. He was telling us food would be very good, and we thought it's just some marketing gimic, lol. But when we had our food it was really good. The chips with Bahubali sandwich!!! They were just amazing, and so was the sandwich. Pani puri set was really good. The prices are just right. I think if the things don't change we have found our goto Indian Restaurant. Also there is plenty of parking behind the restaurant. Great place 🥰

We visit honest restaurant 2-3 times in a month and one of our order is fixed and that is VEG MANCHOW SOUP, to get the exact same taste of indian manchow soup is so hard to get in Sydney, but here you get the same taste every single time and its just best

Nice and delicious Indian street style food. Heard a lot about the place and been wanting to visit ever since, a good wide spread of choice for everyone with a few interesting variants. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced.

Customer service was amazing. We were served very quickly and the staff was very accommodating. Owner was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely recommend.

We went for our anniversary, but didn't had very high expectations, but to our surprise, it was pretty nice place to start with. The food was delicious and awesome in taste. The service was exceptionally good. The ordering process was quite easy through QR code form our mobile with Table number and service was quick. Overall it was am amazing experience. Highly recommended.

Have been here many times before and each time have left very satisfied. Reasonable priced, portion sizes are great and each dish is always packed with a punch, flavour wise. Always consistent and despite how busy they are, food is served in a timely manner.

Very delicious food. The location has easy parking access. But prepared to be in the queue (Wait time) as this restaurant is busy almost always.

The food is really delicious and gives authentic test of India, especially Gujarat.

Visited this place for dinner based on google reviews, was very good experience. We were welcomed with a smile and got outdoor table. Menu was available on QR code. Ordered- Pav bhaji, honest special tawa pulav, Chole bathure and Hakka noodles. All dishes were very delicious, enjoyed it totally. Chole were authentic Amritsari taste and bathure were less oily. Tawa pulav was yummy, had very different taste. The staff checked with us twice if food was OK or if we need anything. Overall a good experience.

The food here is absolutely delicious!! We have tried so many Indian restaurants in Sydney but this one stands out specially for the taste and freshness of food. We were greeted and served by Vikram who owns the place but is very humble, friendly and welcoming. We will be re-visiting for sure. The veg Biryani was lip smackingly delicious. Must visit!! Even if you live far from Bella Vista.

Honest did amazing job with catering order at our home. Honest delivered food in timely manner and ensured that food is kept hot through hot box. Food was delicious and guests loved it. I highly recommend Honest for catering and dine in order.

Are you looking for something to excite those taste buds? How about Honest Indian? This is a vibrant Indian restaurant in Bella Vista with brilliant vegetarian Indian food, street food style. The food is awesome, full of wonderful flavours and textures.

Honest Indian is a casual diner in the industrial precinct of Bella Vista. The dining space is bright, with splashings of colour and some cool Indian pop art that makes you feel happy.

The restaurant is packed with families on our day of visit, everyone is happy and lively and enjoying their meals, many sharing all the plates. Staff are super friendly and efficient, the owner in particular is so welcoming.

We take a look at the menu which has lots of menu items we’ve never tried or heard of before, so we get advice from the staff. We order lots of their popular dishes to share and are grateful to have been given top advice. In addition to the Indian Street food, there’s some Indian takes on western classics like pizza and sandwiches, and these seemed to be popular amongst diners.

We start with an Indian Street food inspired dish, the pani puri. This dish we do know well and order it whenever we see it on a menu. It consists crisp chickpea flour cups filled with sweet date chutney and a choice of two types of flavoursome liquids to fill the chickpea cups with, a spicy one and a refreshing mint cilantro water. Start with an edible cup of spicy liquid, then folllow with refreshing cool cilantro and mint.

Another dish we are fond of here is the cheese bhaji pav, a famous dish for the textile workers of Mumbai, a delectable potato mashed curry served with soft toasted bread rolls, cheap and delicious. Dip your bread in the curry, or fill it. It isn’t too spicy and the flavour is so damn tasty.

The Paneer 65 was one that most interested us. A sothern Indian inspired option of battered spiced paneer(cottage cheese) spiced with mustard seeds curry leaves and a spiced sauce that is beautifully caramelised. The sauce made the cheese an incredible bright red / orange colour (similar to the look of tandoori). This was phenomenal and incredibly moreish; with the fried cheese with a beautiful spicy marinade, it would be pretty hard not to enjoy this. It was a flavour bomb and was our favourite dish of the day.

Bhel from the western regions of India is something new to us, the first we have tried this. It is a savoury puffed rice salad, with tomatoes, Spanish onion, crisp noodles pomegranate, with a spiced seasoning.
It is probably more carbs than a salad as such, crunchy and packed with noodles and crackers. The seasoning, onion and tomatoes make it quite refreshing.

There were also some dishes inspired from Chinese cuisine, such as the Schezwan fried rice. It came incorporated with Indian food via Chinese people visiting India and they saw a blending of flavours. It has resulted in a vibrant dish, bright Orange / red in colour. This also has a good spice kick without being over the top.

We of course wash this down with a Mango lassi, always the perfect accompaniment to an Indian meal. We finished with a masala tea, a popular drink to have with Indian food.

Despite being vegetarian, the food was quite filling. Of you are after a cheap and tasty casual meal and are in the Bella Vista area, make sure you check this joint out.

We had an awesome experience. Went with few of my friends and we really had a good time. The food was really good. Loved the chaat and curries. Overall great experience and yummy food. We also had a little birthday celebration and the owner was really thoughtful and created a lovely vibe for us. Highly recommend this place.. will definitely come back with family and friends.

I tried Bahkri Pizza first time and crisp base was a surprise to me, loved it. Size is good enough for one person. 😍😍

Manchurian(Non gravy, Dry) was another amazing dish I had and I gives 5/5

Came in with my mates and had a really good time. The pav bhaji is super good and has a perfect blend of spices. Masala chai and masala papad literally made me nostalgic although the kitchen staff could work a bit on their service but except for that it's my go to place from now on.

We had an amazing experience at the restaurant. We went there for the 1st time and the vibes of the places were too good. Yes let me tell you this that its a pure vegetarian restaurant and if anyone wants to eat food with NOG (no onion and garlic), then they make it and its really extremely delicious and too good. What I like about the place is,
1. The staff was too good and gr8 customer service.
2. Cleanliness, ambience and the decor and moreover the vibe was also very +ve.
3. Very nice and simple menu and mostly its all Indian street food.
4. One can order and pay from the table using the QR code. I personally don't like it but yes its another +ve point for the joint as in the busy time, customers can order quickly without having to wait for someone to take the order.
5. Important of all, well presented and very delicious food.
I can recommend this place to others and is a must to try atleast once and believe me that you won't be disappointed.
We ordered Masala chai, Masala Thursday, Cheese masala papa, Tawa pulao and Bahubali sandwich. Everything was amazing and it can be given a 10 out 10.

Honestly having honest in Sydney is a great joy for foodie like me. I enjoy the food hear because everything is veg just meets all my requirements

We had dinner and ordered Chaat, Bhel, Gobi Manchurian, Chole Bhatura, Paneer Tikka Masala, Fried Rice, Hakka noddles and Pav Bhaji.. everything was great other than Pav Bhaji and Fried Rice....

Food was amazing especially Bahubali sandwich. I would recommend owner to teach staff to be bit polite to customers instead of throwing attitude. I ordered food for takeaway and reached 5 minutes early for pickup to the time provided the guy at the counter tells me you need to come on time given we cannot give you food whenever you come and later food was delivered 10 mins late compared to given time for pickup. Food was awesome except for the service received from the guy at the counter. The lady who accepted payment was polite and will recommend owners to avoid that guy to be on the counter as he doesnt have customer etiquttes.

We ordered food for 10 deal. Indo Chinese. The food was ready on time. And the food taste was amazing and yummy. All the guest enjoyed. Highly recommend for vegetarians.
