First time here based on good reviews. Great fish and chips. Ordered fried flakes. Fish is fresh and not oily. The type of texture that I like. However the fish burger is not as delicious as I would prefer it to be. Dry and slightly bland. Friendly service. Most people takeaways as there are only 2 small tables available for dine in. Would be nice if there were more tables available.

Food here is great. Classic fish and chips. Quality is good. Suggest getting the snapper or blue grenadier and not cheaping out on flake.

I’ve been coming here for about 2 years now and this place is really clean, fast service, not too fast as if it’s pre cooked. Everything is fresh. The workers are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome. This is what I got today all together for $16!

Amazing fish and chips here!
Got the grilled Barramundi and battered snapper, was really hard to pick a favourite between either.

The grilled was perfectly cooked, very tender and flavourful (and quite a big piece as well! The batter on the snapper hit way above expectation and very crispy whilst allowing the snapper flavour and texture to shine.

The chips were really nice fresh as well, crispy not soggy and same went with the potato cakes. Not overly salted, will be back when I'm in the area! Perfect to take to the beach.

Standard fish and chips shop. But the fish and dim sims were on point. Crispy as Anakin on Mustafa, soft on the inside as Padme pleading with him and as tasty as as the original trilogy compared to the Reylogy. Chips could be better I guess. But was still good. Thick and chunky but rather soft. Hot though and that's what I like. The dim sims too were excellent. All cooked to order. The place was busy. Will recommend. Buy and walk / drive to the nearby beach. No point eating fish and chips at Rosebud inside a shop.

Best value fish and chips in Melbourne, hands down. Crispy batter (not oily or greasy), fresh fish, melt-in-your-mouth potato cakes, yummy dimmys and great chips (just need a bit of chicken salt). And great value for money - $35 comfortably feeds a family of 3. Service was excellent and only waited 10 mins for the food which came out piping hot. Will definitely be back when next on the Peninsula

Just order the fish and chips. They're battered and fried to perfection. The batter is thin, cripsy, and stayed on the fish throughout. The fries are awesomely crispy on the outside with just enough softness inside.

We had the flake and the whiting. 💯👍🏼 Lady with the backwards baseball cap that served us was cheery and polite.

It's cheap and reasonable pricing
A$8-10 for a fish thats pretty large in size. The chips are in generous portion as well. Sauces are sold separately, you could bring your own otherwise small tub is $1.5 each
They sell big bottle of drinks but dont have the paper cups for the customer

I found the serving quite generous for what you pay for. The service was quite quick and food seemed fresh and tasty.

I don’t understand how this place isn’t sitting at 5 stars. Beautiful flake, perfectly cooked chips, potato cakes, dims and sausages in batter were cooked to perfection. Fresh, fast efficient. I’m not huge on reviews unless service is really good or really bad. But this place is fantastic! Very reasonably priced too. Definitely worth a visit.

We ordered on NY day so they were very busy but were open and honest about wait times... And our food was prepared well before the time they estimated. The team member who took our order was very friendly. The food was actually really great, I don't normally like battered fish but this was the best I've had. The value for money is also amazing, especially for a busy coastal town. I'd come back without a doubt.

Great fish & chippery store we came across on the way back from our road trip! The shop owners are friendly and they cook up delicious and fresh fish and chips. Love the battered prawn, crabstick and scallop too! Would recommend anyone who stops by to try it out :)

We've been here a week and have ordered with these guys nearly every eve! They have the best prices in town (We've shopped around and used to drive a LONG DRIVE just for the RYE fish and chips TILL WE ENCOUNTERED these guys!!) the food has been ON POINT yummy! One of the best pieces of flake I've has. Crunchy outside, tender inside. Chips great too husband had chicken snitzel burger and said it was fantastic. Highly recommend

Very nice fish and chips. We got the 2 pack and it was delicious. The fish was a good size and very fresh. Will definitely recommend it and will definitely go back again.

Amazing! Haven’t had good fish n chips in 4 years after moving to QLD. Burgers, chips and steamed dimmies were fantastic!

Most excellent fish and chips. Crunchy chips with soft centres, light and very tasty batter on our fresh gummy flake, good size and tasty grilled barramundi. Highly recommend.
