Food was superb! Beautiful flavours and well presented. Staff very friendly, efficient and helpful. Highly recommended for Peppers guests or if you are holidaying in the area. Don't pass by the chance to eat such great food at a reasonable price.

Went here for lunch with wine. It was the best meal we had while in NSW. When the chef came to our table we had to give him kudos for the phenomenal meal. Loved it!!

Excellent dinner and service. I had the trout and chocolate tart, both were perfect. The set up and atmosphere are also lovely, it's quiet with view on the garden. I think this place deserves a much better rating than what it currently has on Google.

One of the best dinners we've ever had! Not sure at which michelin starred restaurants the earlier commenters have dined to warrant such low reviews, which almost stopped us from going. So glad we ignored! The food was excellent, well presented and tasty, and the surroundings lovely.

Unfortunately with COVID the services offered are reduced, but still
. . wow. Best burger I have ever had - the combination of all ingredients was perfectly balanced and no fat drips. Breakfast was superb and good value too.

Wonderful food in a gorgeous setting. We had the barramundi. Great! And best margaritas I've had for years.

Beautiful food

Nice atmosphere and all that you would expect from a hotel restaurant, except the need for more staff training. Our young server struggled with a few little things, but she may have been having an 'off' day as she was pleasant and apologetic for all the little mistakes. The view was relaxing and lush and the food was excellent and generous in size. Other than missing our coffees with dessert, it was a lovely experience.

Katers catered for our wedding in October 2022. Our tasting menu was very different to what was served on the wedding night. Kitchen staff had bad communication with our DJ and did not follow the schedule accordingly.
Food was very tasty, but definitely not as good as expected. As the bride I was also served a very overcooked (probably the worse looking too) steak.
I tried to book high tea at Katers earlier this year but on the day when I tried to add a guest they had no record of my booking and could not provide us with a reservation... Unless I told them the name of the person who took our booking. I then had to cancel plans with my grandparents. Because of this I could never go here again.

I went to Katers for dinner with my boyfriend recently. The location and setting of the restaurant is stunning and the staff were very friendly. My boyfriend ordered the lamb and I ordered the steak. We also ordered a side of the truffle chips. Unfortunately we realised after the dishes arrived that things were missing. For example, my boyfriend's lamb was meant to come with labneh. We asked a waiter for this and he brought it over on the side but we shouldn't have had to ask given that was what the menu said the dish came with, and also given the price of the dish. The truffle chips were chips with grated parmesan on top and had no truffle in them at all. My steak dish was meant to come with charred onion however it came with beans instead. Overall, whilst not the end of the world, you do expect the dishes will be right when you come to a fine dining restaurant. Our food experience was mediocre at best, although the staff were very friendly and attentive. The wine list was ordinary and didnt seem to take advantage of the great local wine.
