Gordon VC Rest Area

Good place to rest at! decent parking, really good food truck and toilets. What more could you ask for

Really great place to stop. Lots of space to park and a neat food van most days.

Very good to take a rest while driving to and from Canberra to Sydney.

You can even get ice-cream and donuts and many more from a food truck there.

Drink water , go to restroom and enjoy good coffee and refreshments.

Good rest area. There's a a toilet that you can use as well. Plenty of parking space and pretty close to the highway. A great place to take some rest if you are on a long drive.

Good place for a quick stop while driving down the Hume Highway. There was a trailer set up selling snacks and freshly cooked mini donuts. The donuts were delicious!

Plenty of room, good toilets that where cleaned when I was there. And a small donut van wich has a nice snack for your travels.

Good spot to stop for a break. Weekends you will find Al’s Donut van there for coffee and freshly made hot donuts. Toilets Picnic Tables and bins.

Also Found the hawkers caravan open, who made a great coffee ☕ along with a cup of mini doughnuts 🍩 which were the perfect follow up to the delicious hotdog 🌭 well worth the stop.

Got myself some fresh mini donuts! They were fantastic. He said he is their most days and he makes them fresh to order.. yuuummmm

At night sometimes the roll of drums behind the curtain of trees would run up the river and remain sustained faintly, as if hovering in the air high over our heads, till the first break of day. Whether it meant war, peace, or prayer we could not tell.

Nice easy spot on the long hume Highway to have a cup of tea/coffee and use the toilet.

This was on of the best rest areas we had the pleasure to stop on our trip.

Love these rest stops which are well maintained. Good place to rest up for the remainder of your trip.

Nice place for a breather

Clean and tidy rest area, wheelchair friendly, parking space is good, some shade, public amenities clean.

Stopped here for a quick break and chance to grab a geocache. Great history about the VC.
