Eling Forest Winery

Our car broke down while we were travelling from Sydney to Snowy Mountains and the lovely Gentleman helped us out. Gave us engine oil and had a look at our car. We couldn't ask for more. It was getting dark and already started to rain. We were able to drive to the nearest servo. THANK YOU SO MUCH. We ordered some wine for the coming Easter. BIG YES from us !!! The winery looks amazing too. Beautiful surroundings and outdoors, very green and pleasantly magical. Must see while you are around Sutton Forest 💜

Lovely place, it’s a regular stop when travelling to Canberra or this way down south.

Coffee and scones is always fresh and lovely staff always smiling and helpful.

This was the venue for my daughter's wedding and it was OUTSTANDING. The food was delicious and plentiful and the service was second to none. What a treat to have unfettered access to a wedding venue for the whole weekend; the owner, Michelle, accommodated the bridal couple's every request.
The next morning we had the 'recovery breakfast' at the cafe, which again had wonderful food and service.
Highly recommend this incredible venue!

Makes a great pit stop on the way to Goulburn if you like a strong coffee. The freshly made cakes are fantastic! The property is beautiful and scenic with perfectly manicured landscapes and gardens.

Eling Forest is a personal favourite location. Menu , wine and hospitality is always 5 stars .

Eling Forest is a perfect stop for breakfast/brunch or lunch midway travelling to Canberra, I am a local of sorts & is a go to always when I want a brunch in a beautiful location or entertaining guests.

If you enjoy cakes , their selection of home made offerings are the best ever.

Such a great Road Trip stop on the highway. Devonshire Tea scones are so good. Very good coffee and friendly service.

It is a very quaint place to stay. Check in was simple and problem free.

On arrival, everything was clean, neat, and tidy, probably a bit too scented for my sensitive nose, but still quite nice.

There is a fireplace that works well. All the wood and kindling were provided. There are also oil heaters in the bedrooms. It is very cosy. It got down to 2 degrees the night we stayed, but we were warm and cosy.

A small kitchen provides more than adequate functionality for a short stay.

The beds and bedding are good quality (probably some of the best that I have encountered in airbnb settings). There are three bedrooms, one double and two single.

The bathroom is spacious, the twin showers have loads of hot water and plenty of pressure.

The is a decent TV with good reception of free to air channels.

The grounds are well kept and good for a little walk.

There are plenty of takeaways and restaurants nearby.

Overall, it was a very nice place to stay.

Fantastic place for a stop during driving from/to Sydney. Really good, freshly prepared food. It's totally recommended.

What a lovely find! Wonderful quaint little cafe but the unassuming food was exceptional. Some of the fluffiest scones I’ve ever tasted and the filo with chicken and mushroom was really good. Will definitely be back. Worth the stopover on the way down to Canberra from Sydney.

We’ve been here many times while on our trip to south. Always been grateful towards their food, coffee and winery option.

Driven past this place many times without stopping, finally dropped in. The food and coffee was excellent, the staff were lovely and the cafe had a nice feel. The grounds are very appealing and I will be looking into bringing my partner down for a stay. The only possible downside is the cafe is a little expensive which is acceptable if the food is always as good as I experienced.

Wonderful venue, super-helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we had the best weekend. Food was top-notch.

The best coffee in Sydney is freshly ground and roasted coffee. Whenever you pass by, you will drink coffee. ☕His cakes🍰 and jams are handmade freshly baked cakes. The service is very attentive, especially during the tiring journey, it is much easier to meet such a place with beautiful scenery, food, coffee and wine! Highly recommend this winery cafe.

Great little stop on the highway when you need a quality coffee and don't want to go to a service centre. Food is also good. Not cheap but well worth it. Open fire on a cold day!

We stayed two nights at Eling forest winery and it was so wonderful. The room was very cute and cozy. We had a delicious cheese platter and tasted some great wines at their cafe. Lady who manages the winery/cafe is so friendly and accommodating but the resident doggy Luca was the star of the show. He is the
friendliest cutest little doggo and we loved giving him loads of cuddles. Definitely worth a visit.

Please stop here for coffee and cake. You will not be disappointed. Everything home made and delicious. Gorgeous setting too.

Visited quite a few times, the service and food quality is always excellent.
It is also a favourite stop for extra smooth coffee and delicious cakes. The Russian Cheesecake and Orange and Almond cake being our favourites.
Gluten free is really well catered for.

Lovely area, cost cafe and plenty of parking. We've been meaning to stop by as we frequent the Hume to get to Melbourne and we're glad we finally did.

If you're sick of the petrol station food then drop by here. The cafe is super cosy, the people are friendly and the food is delicious.

We got bangers and mash to share and not only was it really yummy with the peppery sausages but we felt it was a good amount of food for two. Topped off by a nice coffee and we were good to continue on driving.

I highly recommend and stop here!

Incredible spot for lunch on a road trip

I stayed here for just one night with my daughter after a long day in the Southern Highlands and an early start the next day. It was absolutely lovely. A warm inviting room, comfy big bed, clean and quiet. From what I could see at night time, the surrounding areas are stunning. Would stay here again, very convenient for other areas of the Southern Highlands and a reasonable price too. Thanks for the bottle of wine which will be something to look forward to drinking soon!
