Great clean bistro with fast service. Get your Publinc membership card to enjoy member discounts before you buy food or drinks . Never walk out if you see reserved everywhere, the staff may just want you to see them to assign you a table. I am a regular.

The staff need a huge shout out!! Saturday was so busy and still Tammy (duty manager) still had everyone smiling including her staff. It was super relaxed, food came out quick and everyone got looked after right away.

Calamari was done just right, tender and crispy. The Balter XPA went down well too.

The events packages are lovely and great for many occasions
Also great for a cold one at the end of a long day

Food is almost always perfect, although I have to say on the couple of occasions the meal hasn't been perfect management were quick to fix the issue.
Can't fault the service & it's a great place to relax and enjoy a meal 👌

Absolutely loved the surf and turf on multiple occasions. The other meals are always good as well. Good pleasant staff and always helpful and friendly and willing to have a chat. Would definitely recommend to eat at if in mackay. Also a good atmosphere in the sports bar on a Saturday.

The meals were so good here, we went two nights in a row. Beautiful gf lemon pepper calamari so tender. Highly recommend.

Within walking distance of a lot of the motels on Nebo Rd, The Shamrock has a great menu, friendly staff, and a nice covered outdoor seating area. Also a good place to watch State of Origin.

Enjoyed dinner with family and friends, will be back.
