Cinnamon scrolls - 🤤🤤🤤🤤
MUST try! Super soft, fresh, absolutely delicious

Great coffee, and awesome pastries and great selection of sweets.

Very busy but totally worth it. Nice seating area at the front which sits perfectly in the sun (perfect for spring time)🌞 but very hard to find a seat.

Indulging in the delectable delights at this French patisserie was divine. The flaky croissants and fluffy muffins were a true masterpiece. The charming ambience added to the delightful experience. A must visit for anyone seeking a taste of France. Now, onto the coffee - the capachino was well rounded, and it delivered a perfect balance of creaminess and rich coffee flavour. I give the coffee 8.0

The coffee is a bit average, although the baristas do their best. That’s where this place ceases being average. The patisseries, the décor and the level of customer service make this easily one of the Top 5 cafes I have experienced in CBR. By the time I get to the till, Cassie has three-quarters of the team’s order typed up and ready for confirmation.

I have been buying cakes for over 4 years and today was no exception in the deliciousness of the birthday cake!!
Fresh cream sponge cake for my mum, which served 8 of us. I bought my sister the raspberry sponge in April and just put order for my husband for coming Sunday. Pastries and desserts are all Devine. Coffee is good. Sometimes it gets busy and hard to sit and have a coffee and treat so easier to take away and sit a jerrabi pond.

I’ve order cakes for my sister’s birthday. It’s was super delicious. I think they use magic to make cakes. I had the best iced oat vanilla latte. Thank you so much Le Bon Melang team! 🙏👏🏻

I recently purchased 2 birthday cakes from here and can't recommend them highly enough. They were prompt in their response to online enquiry, friendly and professional to deal with and their prices were super competitive. The cakes themselves looked amazing and tasted even better! Definitely recommend.

A gorgeous lil café with lovely food and drink options. We got the pancakes, eggs Benedict, shakshuka, smashed avo, donut balls, iced latte and cinnamon bun. Everything was delicious and filling. They have beautiful cutlery and options to sit in and outside the café. Would definitely recommend!

Our go-to breakfast place for a sumptuous pastry and a cup of luscious coffee! Just a few steps from our place, it has already been a weekend habit for us to visit Le Bon Melange for a quick bite before we start our day. The place is a small cute boutique cafe (with the name itself, it has its French touch in the interior). It is usually packed, there is always a queue of people but the queue gets sorted really quick. Since there are still some COVID restrictions, there are only a few seatings inside and a few outside, but having your food and drinks on takeaway is also a good option. We are a fan of their Almond Croissant and their Cinnamon Bun and sometimes trying a variety of Danish. They also serve donuts and milkshakes that the kids would love.We also like how they make their coffees, especially their chai latte— the best we've tried in the town so far! Worth visiting if you are a fan of sweets, hot drinks and chilling in a small cafe.

Do you enjoy a good French pastry, and perhaps a slice of gateaux or tart?
Perhaps you prefer a prepared sandwich, a gruyere cheese toastie?
How about a traditional pie, which there are several varieties of; or a sausage roll, or pick from a selection of vegetable rolls?
If you'd prefer there are also kitchen dishes from Eggs Benedict to soup of the day.
Wash it all down with a large selection of coffees, smoothies, teas and other options.
There's also a honey infused spiced chai that warms the body on a cold winter's day.

In any case, this cafe is fantastic and doesn't disappoint.

There is limited seating indoors and out. Tables are small as per French style and seat 2 to 3. There is no table service. You join the often long queue to the counter to order. Cutlery and water are located next to the serving area where you pick up you coffees and drinks.

There is limited parking on the street.

The cake is simply amazing. You can taste the freshness and it looks pretty too. You can pre-order it.

Great little gem off the beaten path in Canberra.

The good:
Wonderful selection of sweets, pastries, and treats. Small, and well executed, food menu as well.
We bought a range of treats and found them delicious. Tasty without being overly sweet/sugary.

The bad:
The line-up system is a bit awkward as you'll have people lining up right next to your table. The door is always open from the constant customers, which brings in a chilly draught in winter (so bring a coat).
The caluflower and brocolli soup was too salty.
The shakshuka was very traditional and felt more like two poached eggs in a tomato soup. Still yummy though.

I haven't been inside Let Bon Melange but I have dug into at least five of their desserts because two friends of ours SWEAR by their cakes and bring them for afternoon tea every time we come together! Most recently, they brought this raspberry cheesecake that was absolutely delicious. Not too sweet and not too heavy, just the right amount of tart, and just look at that gorgeous top with gold flakes! We also had a salted caramel cheesecake that blew me away, a New York cheesecake delicately topped with fruit, a crisp and indulgent mille-feuille, and a strawberries and cream sponge cake topped with a strawberry macaron. Every dessert was a winner. A winner I tell you!! My wife and I are determined to swing by sometime soon because the website showed off another range of cakes that we can't wait for our friends to bring over to try! 😆

There's something special about the people who make the coffee and doughnuts at this place. It's like they actually enjoy or even love what they do. It shows. The lemon curd doughnut is my favourite and is the perfect addition to my triple shot coffee. My kids love the sausage rolls, and my wife, the pumpkin quiche. I've marked the atmosphere down one because they're so busy you're either squashed in next to people standing in line, or there's no seating at all. You shouldn't let that worry you. Everything else makes up for that and more. Make your day better by going here.

Quite a hidden cafe but a nice little gem. This French cafe has plenty of tarts to enjoy and goes well with a warm coffee on a cold windy day.

Putting Gungahlin on the map! The best patisserie in all of Canberra! I've visited a number of times and their breakfasts are like every other cafe. Their desserts are magnificent!
Recommend: Caramel tarts, pecan tarts and macarons.
The fruit tarts are cute. The Russian honey cake - well homemade always tastes amazing but this one is pretty good too!

I love Le Bon. Everyone has always been great and the pies are, arguably, my favourite after moving to Canberra five years back. Keep it up guys, you're stellar. 👌

Incredible pastries that look amazing and tres chic but also delivers on flavours, textures and colours. I’ve been going for years now, always consistent in quality and service. Hidden gem in Gungahlin!

Great coffee and an extraordinary range of pastries. Beans by Espresso di Manfredi. The char-grilled vegetable baguette was delicious. Their pancakes are truly amazing.

Great coffee, breakfast and cakes in Gunghulin. Very popular with nice decor. My favourite had to be the cinnamon scroll which had just been made fresh on the premises. I will have try the macadamia milk I noticed with my coffee next time. I also had ordered a biscuit cake in the past for a special occasion amd it was well decorated and delicious.
