Civic Asian Noodle House

Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants in Australia and the best one in Canberra 🙂 We love prawn laksa, duck noodle soup, som tam Lao (papaya salad), roast duck salad and Thai desserts. Fresh ingredients. Attentive service. Generous serving. Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Thai cuisine.

Remind me of home-cooked food.

Indeed, it has the best Laksa in Canberra! This place made us realise that Laksa is indeed a good dish and made us a fan as well. Our usual orders are the Combination Laksa and any of the noodle dishes. The price of two will not exceed $30 and you already have a full meal (even have a takeaway).

The laksa here is so delicious!! The bowls are big and hearty, great value for money.

Last time we went to the Belconnen joint and the laksa wasn’t great there, going to stick to the civic Asian Noodle House.

Asian Noodle House has been serving great veg laksa for a a very long time. Just love this place for authentic laksa.

Coozy place. Amazing pad thai with filling portion. Tried deep fried ice cream for the first time. It looked amazing but was not my favourite in terms of taste for me. Highly recomended for pad thai

The combination (chicken, BBQ pork, duck) laksa was great here. Service was very prompt. Menu has a whole range of Asian dishes. Thai, Malaysian, Chinese dishes etc.
Would come back again.

This place is a walking distance from the civic centre and ANU. I loved the chicken Laksha, it was rich and the portion was filling too. The prices are affordable.

Asian Noodles House restaurants are the bomb! The food is legit delicious, the service is top-notch, and the staff is super friendly. I'm definitely coming back for more! 😋

Best seafood laksa I have ever had !!! Superb & well priced. My son had chicken hokkien noodles also most noteworthy.

The food here was great, full of flavour, came very quickly and was affordable. The gentlemen working there, I think the owner was friendly and even gave us a break down of the Thai language. This was a definite win and I would highly recommend it.

Friendly service, food was amazing - arrived on our table 10 minutes after we ordered (Sunday evening). Casual atmosphere, kid friendly.
