Julio's Italian Restaurant

We went to Julio in West Perth for 1pm lunch on Sat for the first time. The restaurant ambiance is great. Clean and tidy. There weren’t many patrons at that time so indoor dining room was empty but hey both of us enjoyed the atmosphere nonetheless. Food were fantastic. We had cream pastas for mains, ciabattas for side, and sparkling water. Cream pastas were flavoursome yet they were not overly creamy, thus making them easy to eat. Mains and side were of good portion too. Pricing fits for what we received. Service was good and we had our food not long after ordering. Perhaps entree (or side) could come earlier as we were a bit hungry at the time. Didn’t mind them coming alongside the mains but we would welcome the choice by a simple questioning. We walked out feeling satisfied and will visit again for the 2nd time. We can recommend this place for a good dining experience.

Built in 1902, Julio’s was previously the residence of a well known Perth menswear mogul. The heritage-listed building was carefully restored on the exterior to accommodate the modern restaurant, whilst paying homage to the iconic history it holds.

Beautiful little Italian restaurant at the bottom of the HolidayInn, which is also a fantastic hotel. Stayed here numerous times and we always eat at Julio's. Check it out! Great food and drinks.

We dined here several times while staying at the hotel. The staff were all friendly and efficient and we were served promptly. We had the vegetarian dishes which were delicious. The restaurant has a pleasant cosy atmosphere inside (not loud, even when quite busy). Outside dining has a more casual feel, (very nice for an afternoon drink/pizza). Would definitely dine at Julio's again when in Perth.

Diego and Andrew gave great friendly service. Meals came fast and tasted lovely. We were a large group of 12 that somehow I accidentally forgot to confirm my booking but they sorted us out and seated us without fuss. Such great prices too. Breakfast recommended.

We are more than happy to recommend Julio’s Italian Restaurant; We dined there several times while staying at the fabulous adjoining Holiday Inn on a recent trip to Perth. This is obviously a very well managed restaurant- the staff were simply awesome, guest focused, and could not have been more obliging, especially when encountering menu selections unfamiliar to us. The food, and service never failed to exceed our expectations, and we would thoroughly recommend this restaurant as a fun, historic, slightly quirky (lovely outdoor setting), place to eat; a fine genuine Italian choice of dishes, with a wine selection to match - we found Julio’s to be an excellent choice- and we will be back!

Enjoyed a lovely dinner experience at Julio’s. The place has a different feel to many other restaurants I’ve been to. It feels friendly, warm and inviting. Staff encountered were lovely & friendly as well as very accommodating to our meal change requests. The food were absolutely beautiful with great flavours and seasoned perfectly! We requested to add on salami to the garlic prawn pizza and it was absolutely divine! Highly recommended for an Italian dining 😊

In a mood for some italian classics, maybe a bit of romance? I have to admit, this wasn't the first time at Julio's. I will definitely go again.

The atmosphere does take you back to a cosy restaurant in Italy. However, it is also a smart, clean venue for a small group business lunch. Figure that out. The produce and meals are to a high standard.

We tried the Calamari for entree, then Salmone and Agnello for main. This was followed by Tiramisu and Bondino for dessert. Couldn't fault any of it.

I can recommend Julios as a great place for a family dinner. Situated at West Perth, Hay Street, an easy location to be approached even if you live in West Perth, Subiaco, or even in the Perth CBD.

We had such a great business dinner with my colleague at Julio’s. I would like to highlight that service was outstanding, everyone who works there had a big smile in their face and they were doing such a great job to provide excellent service to their guests. I would definitely visit again.

I took a group of family friends for my daughter”s 14th birthday (20 people). We loved the restaurant and the food. It has menu for everyone. I am no much of pasta eater they had one of the best stakes i”ve had very tender and juice. The service waa incredible we were moved to a nice area. the Waotress was really love and attentive . My daughter had the best time too the pasta dishes were amazing. Thank you!!!!

It's a lovely and cosy place. We went with my partner and we are happy to have chosen the chef's table as the food was delicious and we didn't have to worry about choosing. Will be coming back without doubt.

I ordered the grilled chicken and chickpea pure. The combination of these two flavours match perfectly. I asked for a cold salad instead of the asparagus one and the staff was very friendly with my request. The restaurant atmosphere is lovely, I'll definitely be back soon to try new dishes!

One of the best dinners I’ve ever had! The bruschetta was incredible and the pasta even better! We called quite late on a Saturday night and the servers were happy to stay open and serve us even after most of their customers had left.

Absolutely amazing! My husband and I went to Julio's for lunch and were served promptly. We sat inside and it was a lovely atmosphere :) The food was divine - my husband had the lunch special which was the creamy pesto gnocchi; his words were "I could eat about 5 bowls of this!". The wine was perfect too. I had the chicken, with porcini risotto and orange and fennel salad - so delicious. Highly recommend a visit to Julio's!

Being to a lot of Italian Restaurants in Perth and this is one of my favor. starter is Aracini, makes to perfection. Main course are Spaghettini, sauce is just nice and the prawns/scallops are well cooked. Another main course is Agnello, lamb shoulder is tasty, meat is just melted in your mouth. Finished with La Mandorlina, the cake is not too sweet and the nuts are plenty, which is my flavour too.

Ordered a bottle of pinot but got 2 glasses. Waiter fixed straight away and said the two glasses would not be charged. Great customer service. Had the prawn pastsa. 10 out of 10. Would recommend this to anyone.

The service of the waiters is incredible, customer service is always timely, the waiters and restaurant staff are very friendly. Everything was very delicious

The staff is professional and friendly , they'll help you in every way possible yet you have your own space to enjoy a nice evening out.
We had the chance to try heaps of dishes which were one better then the other.
This venue is not a regular Italian restaurant , in my opinion is more like a place were you can taste food inspired to the Italian cuisine but with different recipes.

The menu might seem a bit pricey at first look but in my opinion is worth the price!

I really like this place. Pretty cosy, not too loud, service is fantastic very polite and courteous.
The food, brooooo!!! Had salmon, best salmon I've ever eaten. Next night had scotch filet, best scotch filet ive ever eaten. Follwing night had lamb cutlets, not as good as the other 2 meals but still good. Garlic bread is delicious. They deserve 6/5 highly recommend
