A 3 cinema - old school movie 🎥 theatre

We were on vacation from Adelaide & stumbled across this by place by mistake, while we were searching for the local Woolies.. 🤣

We booked our tickets online, selecting our seats, and payment was super easy to do, IMO a much nicer check out experience than Hoyts!

Also, a bonus… we didn’t realise Tuesday was $10 movie tickets 🎟 score 🥳

This place had a nice retro feel, with simple decor, but it was clean & tidy, great customer service too.

Also, I did read a few other reviews who were complaining about parking…?, 🤔

We had no issues whatsoever! There was a rear carpark, and plenty of street parking.. which were only a few steps from the main entrance - compare this to Adelaide it was a breeze! Parking was also free too!

There are not to many of these old cinemas still in existence and operating, however the restorations and recently completed modern entry look great. It's a little old school charm theatre with a tasteful modern twist.

This cinema is awesome. .they sell hot drinks like cuppacinos lattes and hot chocolates aswell as snowtops..lollies and chips in the kiosk. Nice big cinemas, clean and tidy and the seats have drink holders too... had a great time..thankyou

Lovely staff. Very helpful the gentleman offer us some brown paper bags to split our lrg popcorn with the 2 kids so they had there own.
The cinema was clean and the had a beautiful picture.
Great place to bring the kids while on holidays if the weather a bit grim.

Very well sited from where we were staying. Very clean and tidy both in the amenities and theatre. Cold afternoon so appreciated the nice warm atmosphere. Great service from staff. Movie, The Drover's Wife, was excellent as well. Highly recommend.

The staff we really polite but they ran out of toilet paper in the ladies toilet ...SAY ..WHAT ..!! and they ran out of ....COFFEE ...cant believe it ...🙄😬 this time a much better experience up to date with toilet paper and coffee was flowing like a river ..popcorn was really nice and fresh too 🍿☕🍿

Great cinema friendly staff when I went to see the little mermaid cheap but fair prices just the candy bar just a tad steep on price but that’s cinemas for ya

Went to watch Toy Story 4 with my boy. Absolutely excellent service from the girls at the ticket counter and snack bar. Better than most theatres I've visited. Cinema itself is about as good as as they come and at 6'6 tall the seating was pretty good. Also had some bean bags on the floor at very front of theatre which my son loved. Will be back for another movie soon.

Staff efficient, quick service and friendly. New upgrades look faboulous. Watching a good movie on a big screen at this cinema beats netflix hands down. Its a great feeling to support our locals. Look forward to watching more new released movies. 👌👍🍦🥤☕

Been many times, will be going many more, comfortable, great service and snacks.

Love coming here with my partner and children, I always get a little cold tho so i always bring an extra sweater or a small lap blanket.
The staff are all really nice and the popcorn is always fresh and delicious

Every time I've been to the Oatmill Cinema it had been a great experience. The staff are amazing and very friendly. There is a good choice of snacks and drinks to have while watching the movies. The chairs and atmosphere are all good as well.

The popcorn itself is worth the 5 stars!
But it's also very well kept and clean.

First time going to this cinema, just visiting the town. When we went into cinema 1 I was surprised at the size of the cinema! Lots of space and comfortable chairs. Great size screen and yummy popcorn. Would be happy to go again when visiting Mount Gambier.

1 I am in a wheelchair and the staff are very helpful. 2 there are only disabled chair spaces in the back row, the back row is fun though. 3 disabled parking involves hills. 4 very good prices!

It was good, choosing our own usable seats would be good though, & too much salt in the popcorn & not a big choice in popcorn tins with no matching cups, could do a bit better @ this cinemas.

Took my daughter here when she visited from Adelaide. Tuesday tickets are cheaper. Seats in the cinemas are comfortable. When you buy food and drinks the price is shown so you know what you're paying.

Love the three cinema complex with all the friendly staff - and serves great coffee along with all the goodies and popcorn - in beautiful heritage location. Great members of the community too with good fundraising opportunities.
