A must visit whenever you're in Albany. The view was astounding and we were lucky it wasn't raining. Enjoy the walks. There's stairs and slopes all along the trails.

Breathtaking view. These wind turbines are humongous and you can hear the noise which is impressive. There are couple of view points. You even can go closer to see how big they are.

It was a very nice experience. First time in my life I have seen a wind turbine from this close.
Free parking available. Toilet and a shelter place available. Enjoy ☺

Free entrance. Need stamina to walk. Beautiful scenery. Very windy and cold end of May.

I was standing right under one of Albany's wind turbines, and it felt incredible. The gentle humming and the giant blades moving smoothly, along with the sight of a bunch of wind turbines on the hills, created an excellent mix of human ingenuity and nature. It made a strong impression on me.

Beautiful spot to go for an afternoon walk along the boardwalk, you can get very close to the wind turbines.
Plenty of parking and toilets available.
There is beach access but it is a long way down so I would not try it unless you're quite fit as getting back up might be an issue.
Overall a wonderful spot to visit if you're in Albany.

The wind farm is absolutely breathtaking: massive structures. Just a short walk from the car park depending on where you park. Another short walk to view the other ones at work. We were lucky, it was very windy so they were all working! Another walk (longer) with gorgeous views over the farm and the sea beyond. Joins the Bibbulmun track for the adventurous! A stairwell leads down to the sea and beach where some locals were fishing. It's very steep, but the views are amazing.

I recently visited the Albany Wind Farm and I have to say, it's an absolute gem! The wind farm is located in a stunning spot with breathtaking views of the bay and countryside. It's the perfect place to watch the sunset, and the placement of the seating areas makes it easy to take in the full splendor of the views.
What I love about this place is the way the wind turbines blend in with the natural beauty of the surroundings. It's like a secret oasis, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and soak up the peace and tranquility. And if you're lucky, you might even see a cute little kangaroo hopping by while you're there!
Overall, I would highly recommend visiting the Albany Wind Farm for anyone looking for a unique and beautiful place to enjoy the sunset and take in the views of the bay. It's an unforgettable experience, and a must-visit destination for anyone visiting the area

YOU MUST COME HERE FOR SUNSET! Striking, expansive views of the Indian Ocean and on a clear day, picture perfect spot for sunset. The windmills are an interesting sight to behold as well… there’s a well maintained boardwalk too. I almost didn’t come but am so glad I did as I was blown away by how impressive the view was. One of the best sunsets I’ve witnessed. If you’re in Albany, a must visit!

N:B: Please don't forget to drive down the offroad from Sandpatch road towards the wind turbines. It would be a great experience and will allow closer viewing of the turbines. We did with FWD, was perfect.
A must visit place to explore the history of windmill’s operation that greatly supports to meet the electricity demand of Albany.
You can go close to the windmill and explore how massive the windmills are…

Nice place to go during the day, and during the sunset - if you don't mind the wind.
The Bibbulmun Track passes through here too - fun for hikers.

The wind farm meets the sea. A beautiful walk. Make sure to go for a walk along the boardwalk. It’s amazing how tall the windmills are!

Loved the near the beach walk feeling the force and energy of the wind to your skin whilst watching the stunning view of the ocean and parasailing moments!
The sunset would be the spectacular sight with the sound of the wind mill’s turbine blowing!

Very windy here at the wind farm.
Lot of short walking trails to multiple lookout points
There's even part of the bibbulmun track that stretches for 1000km
Saw some birds but no whales. Not the right season yet it seems
