Wilson Parking - The Beach House, Glenelg Adelaide, SA Car Park

Great food, outstanding service, amazing view.

Easy access to car parking, pay as you park,

Car parking is relatively straight forward and conveniently located under the beachouse with easy access to all the fine dining and beach front, however I wish they didn't charge as much for parking.

It's $21 for day rate (more than 3 hours). Not cheap but probably fair given the location.

Car park is nice but the mob that enforces it are organised mob. They are very quick to fine. Contacted Wilson's who are the car park owner who I paid for a ticket but still issued with a fine. Wilson's basically said not our issue and to appeal with PES. Not good enough. Wasted my time to appear something which I paid for. It you can't get your systems to talk together that's not my issue.

Carpark is good and a good location. My issue is how you pay for parking. It's not very clear but you have to pay upfront or it's a $65 breach notice. So you have to overestimate your time and pay. I would assume if you go over your time you would get a breach notice as well. This carpark really needs to change to what every other carpark is which is pay when you leave.

Scam.

They offer "$5" parking for functions. However the machine only accepted card and not coins, which came with a transaction fee, meaning the parking was $5.05...or so the machine said. Then see my bank statement I was actually charged $5.06.

Not impressed.

so angry, went to the beach house today, went to the machine and put in my rego number, nothing...said $0.00 due, then i thought i must have gotten it wrong, you must pay on leaving ( because who can guess in advance how many hours they will be there right ??) ...tried to pay on leaving and it said due $0.00 free until 5pm...it was 4.55pm .so then i thought , oh thats a nice gesture, free parking since i just blew $180 in The Beach House ...NO , should have known this was too good for Holdfast Bay council, theres my parking ticket on my windscreen wiper for $65 thankyou very much . Do you deliberately make this carpark hard to understand for revenue ??? im guessing YES

First and last time I would use wilson carports.
Absolutely ridiculous Especially for older people.
Invest in some boom gates and ticket machines...I would rather walk to Glenelg than use it ever again.

Ensure you read their "rules" as you drive in - not well publized, different to many other car parks and a way for them to make money - very disappointed!

Used to offer a discount for disabled parking. No option to pay in anything but hourly increments.

Extremely dirty and stinks

This is a very overcrowded carpark..Small parking spots..

Make sure to pay in advance as soon as you park the car to avoid parking fines!

As usual, pricey and staff obviously just doing a job.
