Shelter Shed

Came in on ANZAC Day for dinner without a booking, but we were lucky to get a table outdoors near a heater. Service was friendly, attentive, and fast. Our steaks were on special and were great value, but slightly overdone. The desserts were good and topped off a lovely dinner.

I recently visited the Shelter Shed with a group of friends and enjoyed an exceptional dining experience. The quality of the meal was so impressive that we decided to return for breakfast the following day, which proved to be equally delightful.

The establishment boasts excellent customer service, outstanding cuisine, and a splendid atmosphere.

Had a fantastic Eggs Benedict here, the service was quick and friendly, great coffee and the breakfast was exceptional. Best bacon I’ve had for a long time.

I would highly recommended this place if you’re visiting Queenscliff, the service was really lovely by all the staffs and me and and bf had an amazing time there for our little dinner date.

We both had a steak and the trio oyster in which both of them taste amazing and my steak was cooked perfectly and tenders, they did make a mistake on my steak however it was being corrected after we told them😇😇

Fantastic breakfast! The French toast and chilli scrambles were the best we have had. Also visited for dinner and was just was good. Scotch fillet char grilled to perfection!

This place has best set up as restaurant in Qweencliff. It was never opened but this time it was open!!!! So we had to go in. Waiting person was welcoming. We already had lunch at Circa 1902 so we had cake and coffee. We had this cake and for me it was delicious! The sauce for the cake had very mature taste 👅 and I really love that. We really had nice afternoon there. Thanks team! I will have to have dinner or lunch next time for sure!!!!!

Really great food, fast service, and lovely space to enjoy a meal and drink.

Had dinner two nights in a row. Fantastic food and drinks. Enjoyed whatever we ordered and the service was friendly and efficient. Very rare these days for places to get everything on the menu right and then to do it two nights in a row when expectations are high. If we are back in Queenscliff, we will be back here for a meal.

Absolutely gem of a cafe! Has to be the best soy cap I've ever had to go alongside the Devine pear French toast. A must recommend for anyone, especially for the well rounded price for the service and food quality! 10/10 👏

Great all around. We turned up in a large group for a late lunch and we were warmly welcomed, with tables specially arranged for us straight away. The food was also great quality and good value. Thoroughly recommended.

Some of the best food I've had in a very long time! The food was fresh and prepared with care and detail. The homely feel inside and the excellent staff made the experience just that little bit awesome.

Absolutely lovely service and beautiful ambiance. Delicious coffee too. I recommend if you like quite cafes/restaurants, it’s not too noisy but still has atmosphere.

Had one of the BEST breakfasts at the Shelter Shed this morning- my son took me out for my birthday… we’ll phase one of my birthday 😜… and the smashed avo was generous, tasty, well complimented with yummy beetroot hummus, feta and pomegranate. So so sooo yummy! Thanks guys.

This is a great restaurant. Food and service were excellent. There are plenty of menu options and prices reasonable. I strongly recommend this place.

Had the pleasure of dining here on 23rd Dec and it was amazing Tuna Steak cooked to perfection and Molten Lava cake to finish was sublime. Do yourself yourself a favour and dine here you will not be disappointed

A gorgeous little place. The coffee blend is rich and nutty, and the croissants melt in your mouth. The interior decor has such wonderful character. We can't wait to go back for lunch some time :)

Brilliant dinner as a special birthday celebration, the meals were great and we took the offer of small desserts to share which was a great option.
Great team to work with in preparing what to offer guests. Highly recommended 👌

Had a lovely dinner here (they were open for extended trading during summer). The staff are friendly and attentive. Dumplings are nice, not super traditional, but pretty tasty. The mains, however, were delicious! We had the chicken and pork mains, which came with a simple iceberg salad with tangy dressing and freshly cut shoestring fries. Bathrooms are clean too. It’s a little pricey for Queenscliff, but the quality of the meat was very good. Would definitely return.

Food was fabulous. Rest outside dining created a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
