Gasthaus Goldenes Dachl

The restaurant is right next to the "Golden Roof", we ate there several times and were never disappointed. Very pleasant and helpful staff, simple and clean interior. The dishes are marked, making it easier to choose vegan or vegetarian dishes. Food very tasty. It's not a cheap place, but it's not super expensive either. I wasn't disappointed. I recommend !

Best traditional food in Innsbruck. The service is great servers are super friendly and helpful. Mostly locals dining and the food Is amazing. Austrian portions are Huge. Try to share a few items

I start with a pro recommendation: if all seats are taken: ask how long it will take to get one. There estimates were perfect and it was worth the waiting time (20 min)

Amazing spot, absolutely loved our meal here. Delicious schnitzel, spätzle and the Kaiserschmarrn dessert honestly blew me away! So tasty! This place also had the friendliest service and was really reasonably priced compared to a lot of other spots.

The food quality is top notch. Everything is so fresh and made with absolute perfection. Tried vegetable risotto and it was one of the best risotto I had. The apfel strudel was also very tasty. A special mention to the lovely servers who were impeccably sweet .. felt like home. Would visit the place again when in Innsbruck. 👍

Very charming and welcoming place. The food was delicious. The kohlrabicremesuppe was excellent, and the Gröstl was truly great and generous. The beer was also fantastic.
It's a pity not to have more stomachs to be able to taste all the dishes.

Was a little worried due to some of the reviews, but I’m glad I stopped by for dinner! Delicious and flavorful food, the traditional fried chicken was particularly good with the mustard sauce served. Very pretty ambience, and a lovely view of the alps on one side of the patio.

Excellent place. PERFECT Wiener schnitzel. Tafelspitz Was also great. Very good fresh food!
I loved the Kaiserschmarrn (Austrian dessert)! Good for family and people that want great Austrian food.

I come every year in Innsbruck, I never went to this place, now I m coming back.

Something you won’t expect from such a touristic spot - good food quality, fast and high level service, wide selection and cozy atmosphere. It is not too expensive either! Very convenient location for those who walked all the way from the train station through the Main Street up to the main attraction - gold roof.

Great quality food, beautiful wine and lovely setting. We were very happy the kitchen was still open at 9.15pm. There were a lot of vegetarian options which is a rarity in Austria. We had the vegetarian schnitzel with side salad and the fried chicken with potato salad, both very tasty and light. The staff are friendly and don’t rush you including once finished, which is nice. Would return again.

We stopped in after exploring Innsbruck all day and it was great. A small quaint location near the golden roof with friendly service, wonderful food at reasonable prices. The tyrolean special was pure comfort food which I would order again.

They were extremely busy but still service with a smile and managed to squeeze us in. Food quality was top notch and good portion sizes. My main was delicious.
I had a kaiserschmarrn too, although I didn't have space for it. Very light fluffy crispy and so tasty!

Would recommend booking as we were so lucky to get in and people after us had to wait or be turned away.

Definitely a touristy spot, but we had excellent food and service. Our dogs were welcomed, and even given a bowl of water. The waitstaff was helpful in both English and German. Really nice atmosphere; fantastic experience.
