This is a very upscale restaurant situated in historical old house with amazing atmosphere of the 19th century. The service and food are impeccable. Our server was very friendly and accommodated all our requests, including those that were out of the menu. For instance, one of my friends asked if the chef could make a duck breast instead of the main course as an appetizer, and they did just that. Everything was very delicious, starting from the bread and butter. They do provide you with apricot oil, which I initially thought is flavored olive oil. But no, it is a special kind of apricot oil and was so delicious that we had to ask for extra. My absolute favorite was lamb, version, and duck. From their desert menu, it is an absolute must to have Kaiserschmarm, which is arguably the best in Austria, and definitely in St. Anton. The creme Brule is also insane! We were offered a free shot of schnapps. Please take the hazelnut flavor. You will thank me later.
But it wasn't it, as I mentioned the restaurant is located in a historical house and the second floor operates as a museum. Usually they charge 5 euros to visit it, but after 7 pm it is free. Our server was kind enough to give us a quick overview of the history of the region and town. The museums are small and composed only by 5 rooms, but it is informative and interesting enough to visit it to learn the history of the region. Overall it is a very nice and tasty place with a beautiful view. Please make a reservation to visit it

Excellent food & warm ambience. We were able to look around the museum whilst waiting for the table which was a nice bonus

A little gem in St. Anton. The restaurant is a little away from the hustle and bustle on the slope. The ambience is excellent and the service is friendly and professional. The prices are high - only here you get something for it.

Treated ourselves to Museum for our final Austrian dinner. The service was good, and the food was fantastic. We got the beef tartare to start, the venison and tafelspitz as mains, and the hot love for dessert. All were delicious, food was served quickly once we put our orders through, and the museum itself is interesting!

One of our best meals in St Anton - we sat in the little enclave under the stairs, felt semi private for the 4 of us.

Staff had a fun sense of humour as we celebrated my cousin's birthday there.

Big fan of the risotto (which we ordered as a sharer starter), beef tartare, chicken, & trout.

Wine list was also great. Would absolutely come back.

Be sure to visit the cool museum upstairs - shows the history of st Anton & old school ski gear (along with some pretty sad stories of children traveling quite far in the cold for work 🤔).

A very nice place for dinner and for groups. We had a private room since we were 10 people. Service is very good and fast, their wine list is also very good and they have some excellent Austrian wines. Food is excellent and their prices are very reasonable.

Spent lunchtime at the museum with some delicious local sourced food on the terrace when it started raining so after lunch, we moved inside and took the tour of the museum which is rather small but very informative and good for any age with several audio and Video points.
We didn’t experienced the dining experience but the private rooms looked really something special!
Kids loved the gardens and playground as well.
Try the ice cream!

Had an absolutely delicious lunch here on the last day of the ski visit. We basically had the whole place to ourselves and enjoyed friendly staff, great beer and wonderful food. Afterwards, we also visited the museum upstairs which had a lot of interesting memorabilia and information about the sport of skiing in St. Anton & how it spread around the world... Enjoyed the picture of Hannes Schneider teaching the Japanese how to ski in the 1930 in Nozawa Onsen!!!

We sat in the garden at the front of the house. Fabulous garden area with a trout pond. Service was fast, friendly and competent. The cook even put together a vegan dish that wasn't on the usual menu for 2 of us (we were 5 people). Food was absolutely fabulous - great cook. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Eating at the Museum is always a treat that we reserve for the end of holidays in St.Anton. I don't know the name of our main waiter but he was exceptional - highly skilled & knowledgeable but very chilled and funny with it. We ate all Austrian food, tasty and beautifully presented. The cheese course was perfect and the apricot dipping oil was a revelation! And what a wine list! We'll be back next year 😊

Food was good, service great and they gave our group of eight a private dining room which was unexpected and lovely. Funniest thing: after dinner at around 10pm we were able to visit the (small but interesting) museum section upstairs.
The icing on the cake is the beautiful building and the fact that it was one of the filming locations for the 2011 hit movie „Chalet Girl“ directed by Phil Traill starring Felicity Jones. Must see for film nerds.

It was a family dinner for the family of four with two teenagers. We loved the place - beautiful historic mansion on the mountain, very nicely lit in the evening. Loved the atmosphere - the crew was funny, friendly, welcoming! The food was very good - just the right amount and délicieux. It is not inexpensive, but worth it! And there is a real museum upstairs that we were kindly offered to visit après diner. Loved the whole experience!

This is a fantastic place for dinner. It's a beautiful old residence and interesting enough for that alone but the owners and staff are passionate about giving you a great experience. You can eat in the great hall or one of the smaller rooms like the library . The wine and schnapps collection is good but the food is the real winner here. Everyone in our party said they had one of the best meals for a while. Ingredients and attention to detail is very good. It's an upscale dinner but prices are reasonable. I will definitely be back!!

Food was excellent and service is also par excellent. A bit of a hike walking up. There was a wedding going on at the time of our visit but they were really nice to accommodate us and allowed us to preorder our food.

I haven't actually visited the restaurant only the museum, which is very interesting and gives some valuable insight into the history of alpine skiing and st. Anton. The restaurant looks pleasant although mildly pricey
