Wagner Hütte

An oasis, exactly where you're grateful to find one. The Wagner Hütte is at the mid-way point of the winter hiking and cross-country skiing trails, but also served by a surprisingly frequent bus.

The menu contains the same meat-heavy, regional stuff as every other restaurant around here, but the quality is high and portion size generous.

A lot of groups stop here, so booking a table is advisable at peak times.

The walk out to Wagner Hütte was beautiful. The building is very nice both inside and out! The staff was helpful, friendly and efficient. There is a bus you can ride out or back for 4 euros each way. I totally recommend a visit here!

Keep coming back in snow, sun, or rain for the food service and stunning location, all of which are exceptional. Beautiful restaurant tucked away in the Verwall, excellent food, service and atmosphere. No reservations taken, so perfect for turning up unplanned. The walking route up the valley is glorious.

Magical place in so peaceful neighborhood. You can fell lucky if there is not that much busy! In case of “bad” weather I just feel that’s the place to go!
The restaurant is really calm many free tables no reservation needed...
Anyway it’s a spot of off piste trail end from where you can get back to St.Anton with bus nr6. You can come here with country ski as well and joy the amazing valley.
If you planning to walk here in winter can be bit disturbed by bus drive because t narrow street is just not wide enough to walk in side...

The last ski run guiding - we end up down here in this fantastic idyllic mountain hut. Great food, good prices. Local food 👍

Nice restaurant well located to take a break after a very pleasant walk or when cross country skiing thru the beautiful Verwall valley.

Even though they are the only restaurant in the area, they certainly don't sleep in their laurels. The place is beautiful and clean, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is DELICIOUS! I personally recommend the cheesecake strudel for desert 👌🏻
