Wildpark Assling

We had no high expectations but this place is wonderful, and not just for families with kids, as nature enthusiasts will rejoice too. The animals are well-kept, their enclosures are spacious, and because of the animal food wending machines, they are constantly fed by the visitors. The park is quite spacious, and despite the big number of people, it wasn't packed. As an added bonus, the restaurant next door serves great food. Amazing experience!!!

Was travelling with our 2 year old twins. Didn’t need the buggy as they walked around okay and it would have been very step pushing 26 kilos up the hills.
Well signposted as you meander up the Austrian hills to the entrance. Adequate parking. Small reception to pay entrance fee. Credit card not accepted so bring cash. Clean toilets upon arrival at reception.
Mountain and alpine animals and a medium sized lake with ducks, geese, hens, sheep, birds, goats etc. The wild pigs running free; great to see. Lots of rest and bench areas to eat a picnic. Would highly recommend bringing bottled water as there is no shop facilities along the path. There is a traditional restaurant just to the right side serving local dishes.

A wonderful place for all ages. It is very beautiful, there is a variety of entertainment for the children, a variety of animals. Children up to 6 years old are free. There is Funbob, a nice restaurant with delicious food.

Great to visit with kids. Deers are running around along with pigs and some other animals :-) possibility to feed racoons. Nice. Price 9,5 for adults.

Nice wild park, small but there is a lot to see

Amazing nature in the hills with autochthonous animals, great for kids.

Wonderful place, comparing other zoos I have visited recently, here you actually have excellent view to animals and you're able to follow and feed them. Animal food shall be bought at the designates vending machines near by viewing path, with each containing right food for the right animal (0,5€ a piece). Kids love it.

This wild park was so much fun! Had a really great time. Animals have enough and interesting spaces. They gave them ice surprises as it was so hot. The deer and little piggies walked around in the park, that was beautiful. The donkey are lovely. Make sure to look in every house and behind each door, as there are more animals!

Nice zoo with a lot of animals. Short walk between cages. You can see all the animals in the cages. They move and very noticeable. It's much better that the other wildlife park

Great experiance for the kids. The staff unprompted jumped into the ferret enclosure and brought one out for my 2 young daughters to pet. Recommend bringing carrots and apples. The girls loved feeding the donkeys, goats and pigs.

At first we walked straight passed the entrance. It's where you see the trains!

Also, be sure to bring enough 50 eurocent coins if you want to feed the animals. There are dispensers with fitting food at nearly every enclosure.

Bit oh a climb but a good day out

Nice wild park for seeing local animals. Also good with smaller kids.
