Dolomitenhütte

After hiking we had lunch there. The view is spectacular and the food was delicious! I recommend this place for those who are local & tourists in the area.

+ The place is lovely! It was quiet, the view was incredible and it was very clean. You feel like home there and that was lovely. Also you can go hiking, tobogganing and walking around and being surrounded by a magnificent landscape of mountains and forest.
- One or two things that were a little unfortunate was that the bathroom and shower was shared and also there were no trash bins in the room (but I think we could have asked for a bag).
But still 5 stars :).

Check this place out! Its just amazing! Easy acces, multiple hiking routes, friendly staff and cool rooms whith view!

My partner and I stayed at the Hutte for the first time at the beginning of December. From the moment we checked in we felt the warmth from the fire and the team. Sasha and his team were extremely hospitable. The food and breakfast was quite luxurious for a hut and we tried almost everything on the menu. One thing was better then the next..we can recommend the ribs, burger, and for the vegetarians out there the kaiserschmarrn ( possibly the best I have ever eaten) , veggie flammkuchen and schlipfkrapfen were amazing. The rooms, showers and bathrooms exceeded our expectations. We were there for the view but will definitely be returning for the food and the hospitality.

Great place to stay with breath taking views.
Although it is difficult to find rooms to stay during peak season.
The journey up to the hut is quite steep and it is recommended to have snow chains if going during cold season.
Even if you are not staying there's a restaurant+ bar where one could visit for a coffee or food etc.

I was so happy while I was staying here The location was great and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The food was reasonably priced and it was delicious. The only downside is that you can't make a reservation because it's so popular that whatever you want in the beautiful room. I highly recommend this place to my friends in Korea.

Magnificent view from the terrace and from the rooms. Really helpful and friendly staff. Room for 2 was small but very clean and comfortable. Very tasty "austrian pizza" flammkuchen with speck and onion.
To get to the hut either with own car, or taxi (40-70 EUR) or get in touch with the reception, they might be able to send a car for you to train station in Lienz. Do it in advance though.
Wifi not really working for us. Toilets and showers are shared but very clean. Also bring your own slippers.
To sum up best view imaginable and super nice staff.

An amazing place to stop for dinner with good food, friendly service, and reasonable prices considering how remote it is. It’s a short walk from the car park, which is itself up a long and winding mountain road. Schnitzel with Pommes and salad was €13.90 and that felt like good value to me.

We wanted to stay at the hotel but it was full at this time. The personnel are very nice, the view is amazing ! The hot chocolates were very good :)

We had and an awesome stay here for one night. Pleasant service, delicious breakfast with lot of choices and great views to the mountains. They even prepared a piece of cake for my celebration.

Do you want to eat amazing traditional food in the most breathtaking environment. Then, come to to visot this place. Absolutely amazing and the servive and kitchen are awsome. I hope to be able to pay another visit soon

Great great Flammkuchen. This is where you want to start your walk into the Dolomites. The staff is friendly and the food arrives quickly. We only had lunch here, but I definitely want to come back to try their dinner menu.

Furthermore, the view from the deck is amazing as you look into the valley with the Dolomites in the background. 10/10 would recommend

My partner and I had an amazing 2-night stay in Dolomittenhutte. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly! We stayed in one of the Panoramic west rooms and the view was equally stunning as the Eagles nest. The food was absolutely delicious and filling!! Although, maybe see first how hungry you are before ordering as food portions are massive as most guests would come from a long hike. Anyway, looking forward to next year as we booked another stay in summer time! Ich danke dir sehr!!!

An absolute must visit hut. Rooms with the best views . No other hut can beat that view. Very clean rooms . Shared shower and bathroom. Excellent food and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast

Have been here many times. Always great food, good service and fantastic views. A must visit if you are near Lienz!! You will not be disappointed!!

Quite incredible views, and a lovely hut experience with cosy rooms, great food and a friendly welcome. Well worth the walk up!
