Nice family ski resort, wide slopes. Not very crowded (January), cheeper.

Came in summer, took the lifts up and enjoyed a great lunch. It's expensive to go up, but still worth it. Many different hiking trails. Restaurants at the middle and top stations. Quite nice and goes higher than the other one in Lienz. Recommend!

I’ve been skiing in larger resorts all my life. Since having kids, we decided to find somewhere quieter and safer for them to learn. This resort hits that family friend spot. It is small and you can ski the whole thing in a day but that’s not the point. It’s easy to navigate but has enough random to make it interesting, The views are lovely. The runs are great fun to ski and well looked after. On the downside, the lifts are older and a little slower and there isn’t a wide choice of places to eat… but that kind of adds to the charm. My wife (who is less confident than me) loves it. We are staying at the Holunderful Hotel which 10m from the base lift. Highly recommended in the Jan or Feb but probably wouldn’t risk coming March or Easter as it is lower and could not have good quality snow.

Cool small ski-resort. We went there after Moltaller was closed due to stormy winds. Had a blast :)
