Amazing lake with a trail for hiking and bike. From 08:00 to 17:00 os not available to access by car. There is a bus and a little train which you can ride and take a little trip with amazing views.

Very turquoise blue water lake with the huge Alpen mountain as a backdrop, the scenery is so picturesque and one of the most beautiful lakes in Austria. This place is so underrated and not so many people here. It is very easy hike around the lake for family with kid.

A call and beautiful lake located by the Austrian alps with snow capped mountains, Vilsaplsee is a worth visit. Visitors can either take a road train or cycle or walk all the way to the lake. The walk takes around 1 hour time and goes through the town, beautiful forests and small streams of water and is pretty relaxing and very beginner friendly. There is also a restaurant at the beginning of the lake where one can have a snack or lunch. There are also hiking trails beyond the lake for people wanting baling hike.

Amazing place. It is very worth taking a walk along the lakeside, the view is wonderful, on the way we see a waterfall in the distance until you reach a nice restaurant. During the summer the visit to the lake becomes more interesting.

This lake is what dreams and tranquility is made off, this lake is picturesque and breathtaking. The reflections of the mountains in the lake water makes it picturesque any time of the day.

Absolutely a dream here with the aqua coloured water, the row boats and the high mountains surrounding us. You can either hike there throught the small valley and town from a parking spot or take a tractor bus along the dirt roads. There are also a foot paths through the trees along the river which is beautiful. I suggest a walk on the wide open road first where you can take in the nature, goats, cows and small creeks and finally having a refreshing cold swim in the lake after! Enjoy!

We took a ride with a little miniature train and a beautiful walk around the lake as well as a hike to the waterfall and it was a very special in spite of the rain 🤩

Amazing lake with nice restaurant where they sell Buttermilch😍 the lake round was really beautiful and at the tail of thr.lake was a small Biergartrn with home made sweets, really friendly staff, nice Biergarten, the cows were relaxing on the grass. And the lake is wild and amazing.

It is the most beautiful place in the whole world.

Wow. This place is stunning. Stunning scenery. A bit crowded at one end where the buses stop - but walk or ride a bit further and leave the crowds behind.
