Ehrwalder Almbahn

This Bergbahn takes you to top from where you can hike to seebensee and Drachensee which are amazing lakes. Worth the amount for the amazing view it offers

Very large ski area with mostly blue and red slopes. Well maintained, can be crowded.

Excellent hiking place. Nice scenery, nice trail, and several huts on the way. The signs are very clear.

Very nice terrain for hikers. Did a hike in Ehrwald terrain and the route is very scenic and got three lakes on the way. Highly recommend this hike route during summer. Also the parking is free. For easy goers you may use cable cars. There are many hike routes so you may choose the difficult level based on ones fitness levels. There are also restaurants at base and as well at the hut near lake on top. Great fun !

Great experience in Ehrwald. Not a very high climb with the gondola, but the view is definately worth it 🏔 The lake on top is beautiful and does not require a long walk. I forgot my creditcard when paying for the trip, but the staff was very friendly and helped me get it back. Definately recommending this trip 😊

One of the beautiful places in Austria, To top we can go by cable car 2 way ticket cost around 16euro last cable from top is at 5:30pm. Good picnic spot huge crowd during summer 🙂

Great place to snowboard/ski. Wasn't too crowded, plenty of slopes for beginner and experienced boarders/skiers. Plenty of restaurants up the mountain to take breaks to eat or have a beer.

Slopes for everyone well maintained. Snowbard and ski, beginner and pro! Lots of parking. Good offers for half day and even late afternoon deal. Good food!

Some of the best views in the whole of Austria, well worth the money and free parking is a bonus. Hikers dream, the lakes above are spectacular. Drachensee is my absolute fav

Perfect place for Ski beginners. Learnt to ski here. Will always have a special place in my heart.

Pros: Good value for money, Great slopes, Good food! Personally great weather so far.

Cons: Parking is very difficult and almost always full, Getting there from Germany is very slow too much traffic. Please plan at least 2 hours puffer until the tunnels are completed.

New cabin every 5 seconds. Seats 4 to 6 people. Not very steep or high above the ground - so even those afraid of heights might give it a shot.

Good drive up the hill for under 20€ up and down. So it isn't expensive and you will have a really good day in the mountains.

BEST.VIEWS.EVER Spent the afternoon here to eat lunch and recharge after skiing all morning.

We had such a fun day in Erwald going up the bhan and enjoying the views and the Alm with our children. Every person who worked there that we spoke to spoke English well and was very helpful. Great place to bring children!!

A rather calm resort with a moderate amount of slopes which are luckily not that crowded most of the time. The slopes are well made and a lot of fun to ski, with most of them being rather flat and very broad, allowing you to go for very big circles. Definitely a great goal for a nice vacation

Cable car takes you to the top from where several nice walks can be taken. Walking down from the top can be difficult so we took the cable car back down after walking to the lake.

Super sun-exposed ski resort on the foot of the famous german Zugspitze. Many intermediate slopes and a decent freestyle terrain for all levels

Nice possibilities to ski both on piste or back Mountain nice restaurants plenty of lifts and accessable for both experienced and beginner skiërs. Mind that most of the restaurants only take cash!!!

When you hike down from the Zugspitzew the cable bahn is part of the hiking fare. Good service and on time. Small cabins for around 4 people.
