Great ski resort for the value.
Solid infrastructure, well maintained slopes, nice staff. Snow is almost a certainty at that elevation due to the glacier.
Don't gamble with smaller nearby ski resorts and pay the premium to get up top to Kitzsteinhorn. The view alone is absolutely worth it.

Been skiing here since 1998 always the b best snow in the area with wide varied pistes above the treeline and varied restaurants and bars. The new 3k connection means you can ski to and from the village of Kaprun now and enjoy amazing views on the way up as well as lively apres ski on the way down

A very steep ten minute journey on a cable car to the first stop on the mountain, Langweid. Absolutely buzzing atmosphere with music and restaurants. Fantastic experience!

I was in September so there was almost no snow, but the cable cars above the clouds are amazing and the open cable car was the best because you get to see the amazing views without dirty glass.

Kitzsteinhorn was amazing. My wife and I spent a superb day on the top of the mountain. I just can recommend for everyone who fond of skiing.

Easy to access with the schi lifts. Fantastic view, Slopes for all schi levels. I loved it. Restaurant and schi equipment shops and rent is available.

Unbelievable place. Simply exciting. Magic. Did not find courage to ski there yet. I will come back to conquer this mountain one day 😁

Took the dogs for a nice hike up here today, stunning scenery all around with breathtaking views around every corner. The waterfalls are really beautiful and the hike isn’t too heavy, much easier on the way don’t tho.

We passed a few glacier caves on the way and we’re treated to a nice refreshing dip underneath one of the falls.

I’d highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area and like a nice adventure.

The great ski center, with lot of ski slopes with different difficulties. Everything is great organized and there wasn't crowded.

One of our favorite skiing places in Austria! Really high mountain with lots of slopes in various difficulty levels. Can also recommend drinking snaps, be it pear, plumb or any other fruit - great addition to your break.

Amazing glacier skiing. Very good piste and fast gondolas.

Just amazing view. Not something for people with nausea like me. Sadly too weak to get to absolute top.

The whole Kitzsteinhorn chain is one the most stunning places we have been in Austria. Amazing landscapes, excellent infrastructure for tourists, and an awesome ski station. You go to the top at 3029 meters high in a beautiful, large, modern cable car. Wonderful experience.
