El Casal de Catalunya Restaurante

Went there with my family today. Having lived near Barcelona for many years, I know what good Catalan food is. The building was wonderful. An old building with marble and wood that really lent itself to enhancing the overall experience. The food, while just a bit different than traditional Catalan, was wonderful. Just delicious! I was dissappointed that they did not have any Catalan wines,, but they did have a very good selection of Argentine wines. The service was EXCEPTIONAL Very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had the traditional paella (full portion) and it was more than 2 of us could eat. Service was excellent, local wine was very good, and it wad fun to watch other local families having their meal.
We felt very welcomed there and recommend it. Explanations of entries on the menu were in English. Atmosphere was great.

Outstanding restaurant in the San Telmo district. Great food, wide menu and beautifully presented. Excellent wait staff, some English and a fantastic atmosphere. It is an old theatre and the internal architecture featuring lots of marble is just brilliant.

Cozy, well distributed tables, good prices for a fish place here. Attention service: outstanding!!

The suckling pig here is incredibly good, very friendly staff would go again in a heartbeat. Good wine list.

Had the best Chorizo de Bife here, one of the highlights of my stay in BA. Very limited seating and was always packed so head down early.

Fantastic.

Acogedor, familiar y una experiencia gastronómica espectacular. No me pareció caro y la verdad el sabor de la comida es otro nivel. La paella es increíble!!! Ni hablar del servicio, atentos, amables y con una sonrisa todo el tiempo. Recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera viajar un momento a Catalunya al dar un bocado.

Lo único que mejoraría son los postres. 4.9/5

Como explicarlo?????? No existen palabras para describir los sabores. Comida exquisita para un 1000 y me quedo corta.
Gambas al ajillo, 😍!!!!! Es mega ultra recomendable. Es probar la comida y remontarnos a la cocina de la abuela.
Volveremos sin duda!!!!!!!!

No conocía el restaurante y tuve una muy grata sorpresa. Es un lugar con historia . La comida es excelente y la atención de Cristian sumamente esmerada para que comas bien .

Recomiendo tomar en cuenta la recomendación de los mozos, sobre todo en el maridaje.

El lugar es un sueño. Fuimos a retirar y nos sorprendió su Hermosa arquitectura, el personal súper amable. La próxima vez vamos a comer ahí. Vale la pena!
