Had to make a visit to this beautifully tranquil garden in Buenos Aires. The queue for ticket purchase literally didn't exist. There was a man outside selling insect/mosquito repellent. I didn't put the two together, please don't learn the same lesson that I learned. BRING YOUR OWN INSECT REPELLENT OR PURCHASE SOME OUTSIDE!! The mosquitoes were a true terror, absolutely insane. The garden isn't a respectable size, it felt like you could pick it up and place it in Japan. A very true representation. Meticulous and gorgeous. Very peaceful and a good way to spend 30 minutes to an hour. Did I mention the mosquito though??? Take those mosquitoes into account. Don't let them deter you, but give them their due respect.

Wow ! what a lovely place to visit, really pretty and well laid out. Spent about an hour walking around the gardens, very busy but still very enjoyable. Nice places to stop, relax and have a drink and or a snack etc.
Souvenir shop was interesting.
Clean toilets.

A wonderful, beautiful, peaceful and inspiring little world, brought by Japan, Argentina and the amazing power of nature.

With 1500 pesos (not more than 2USD in 2023) you can enter an explore this huge garden, getting to see a nice pond with fish, bridges, statues, signs with nice explanations, a library, monuments, gift shops, kiosks, etc.

The staff is nice - they take care of the garden and they watch what people do and how they are treating the space.

No matter if you are tourist or local, you need to respect the space. And plan for the time that works for you best, if you don’t like the sun, don’t go at 13pm and wear sunscreen!

There’s bathrooms and some places to eat. You don’t need to buy the tickets in advance.

Cool and unexpected place in Buenos Aires. It’s a beautiful place and it’s obvious that a lot of care goes into this place. We had a short wait for tickets, but nothing crazy at all. It was a little crowded since I was the weekend, but again, nothing crazy.

Great little spot to relax. It was very busy as on a Monday other things are closed nearby. But everyone maintained a tranquil tone and therefore it was still relaxing. It cost $1.500 pesos.

This is a beautiful Japanese Garden, I believe the biggest one outside of Japan. It's like an Oasis amongst the high rises and buildings of Buenos Aires. The park is laid out perfectly and takes about 20 minutes to walk around. It's fairly priced and worth checking out while in Buenos Aires.

For a small entry fee, one can enjoy the beautiful gardens with a small island in the center, beautiful flowers, manicured trees, a small exhibit, and plenty of good vibes.

There is also a teahouse and an outdoor cafe and one can spend 30 minutes to an hour enjoying the gardens!

We visited the Japanese Harden on our previous visit to Buenos Aires, but it was worth a second visit. Beautifully designed and kept, and sop peaceful, one could spend a whole day there.

A real gem in the city. Great atmosphere, everything is organized and clean. We had so much fun to just walk and enjoy the Japanese garden. There's restaurant inside (we didn't eat there but the prices looked ok).

Lovely place, not too big. The food place is always full. Late spring/begging of summer is the best season to go in my opinion (photos were take in the middle of the summer). Follow their Instagram for events about Japanese painting, etc

Very beautiful and well manicured. It was a bit busy when we went on a Thursday afternoon but we were still able to enjoy the park. Unlike the eco parque and botanical gardens which are free, the Japanese Gardens cost us 1500 pesos per person to enter. It’s a small park but it’s so well maintained that I think it’s worth the price.

The cost is $690ARS for entry. The cost is quite good for the value. Gardens are beautiful and very well kept. The koi fish are really neat to see as well. Check it out!

Beautiful garden to visit. Bought tix at the gate. No wait time. They have a restaurant inside the garden as well as a cafe.

Absolutely beautiful gardens. It was Feb. 14th, Valentines day. It was busy. But we enjoyed our visit and walk about the park.

A beautiful relaxing garden that you can easily wander around for hours. Everything was in bloom in late September, so it was particularly impressive.
Just a note - the sushi at the restaurant was tasty, but in an Argentinian style (with cream cheese and spring onion) rather than traditional Japanese.

If it's a nice day in Buenos Aires, and you're looking for a stroll, then check out the Japanese Garden. It was ridiculous cheap to enter (less than GBP £1), and is worth the visit!

The place is beautiful, I always go there. The entrance is cheap (costs 690 pesos argentinos, less than 1 dolar) and the space is very pleasant. I recommend going in the late afternoon to see the sunset and buy some fortune cookies and enjoy the peace that u feel there🥰💖👌

Just stunning. You won’t regret the visit. It’s not just for tourists, in fact it seems to be most visited by the locals.
