La Rural

Since 1875 built for horses and until now this culture lives well and gives Argentina its essencial taste. From the culture to nature, the relationship between man a horse shows us all the details from fashion, to customs and lifestyle what it needs to keep this relationship. It shows us mastery of handcraft, colors and customs around it. Its one of the very few events where i have seen its audience at its best to show Argentinian true colors. How people are dressed in this perfect surrounding built for Horses was the best part of it.. we also saw Argentina former president Mauricio Macri giving the rewards and congratulating on also Memorial day of Malvinas, the Falkland war victims. national anthem and then a minute of silence. And then the horses started running again most gracefully… man has a lot to learn from a horse.

Lots of events for the community that occur here.

Went to the Buenos Aires technology conference it was refreshing to see how people are getting exposed to the world of tech!

Lovely place and look forward to more events here. I’d eat or drink outside the event center as it is very overpriced inside.

I had the change to enjoy "Los Campeones del Mundo" a great exhibition about the national soccer team.

The best time of year and show/expo to go for is the feria de campo. No doubt that is what you should check out. If you don't you'll regret it

Great atomic energy dissertation space, every state had its own space. Very well organized, crowded but with enough space to walk, breath, read a bit the prefaces and also eat a meal

Food expo was great. Lots of burgers and other grilled meat options. Local breweries were there to try out as well!

Not much to say, it's a big event place, so experience might be different for each event, but for each of the event I've been, they have been quite pleasant.

We were there for the Lego Convention. Nice place but a little bit too hot (middle of summer) with no real AC, or fans to circulate the air. I'd definitely go back, but with a hand-held fan or something similar.

It is a huge conventions center, I've gone to a few in this place and even when some has been small and others have been inmense. This place can accommodate them all with the amount of people that they attract. Security and logistics are awesome (this comment does not include the logistic teams of the people organizing the conventions, it only applies to La Rural Staff). The size and architecture of this place is just amazing.

It's the best place where you can go and enjoy an event, and an international event sometimes! It's a huge place ! So modern and antique at the same time ! You can see celebrities in those events !

I went to La Rural for the "Feria del libro" exposition. HUGE selection of books, tons of different stands to choose from, food on site. I would suggest to be super patient due to the amount of people

Most electoral years it is used for mid-term national voting. When used as a convention center the set up is different. But it was built to annually house the country's agroindustrial Fair. It is the best in the country. On either side of the main showring are the stables where our very fine equine breeds spend the two week event. Every normal year the President opens the Fair with a speech (very important) where he outlines our agricultural progress, our main exports and speaks on guidelines to follow (political!?). After the speeches, there is a cattle and horse parade. At the end of the day there is usually a horse show: jumping and dressage. 🇦🇷🌿

Nice place, there are lots of different exhibitions and event from time to time, so it changes depending on which ones you attend to, but as a place it's in a nice neighborhood and has a nice infrastructure

Had my covid test done here, was very easy and staff were both helpful and friendly. They offer the covid tests for people who need to travel for free
