Mash British Curry House

Friends highly recommended Mash, a British curry house to us. We absolutely loved it! The restaurant itself is charming and intimate. The host attentive and friendly. He personally lets you in to insure a safe environment.
Now the food! The menu has flavorful dishes from India, Thailand and Cambodia. We had the pork dish from Cambodia which has a nicely balanced sauce with just the right amount of spice! Yummy! Our friends had Indian and loved their dishes too. The chef is skilled and is the only one cooking so be patient. This unique restaurant is one you should add to your list and definitely try. If I lived in Buenos Aires it would be a regular.

The curries are just so good! Prices are reasonable (250-300 pesos for a curry, including rice and the best naan bread I've ever tasted). Perfect place for a cozy date with some curries and cold beer.

Oh my god. The best curry not just in Argentina, or South America but one of the best we’ve ever had. Not only is the food absolutely perfect and as if you are sat in one of the best Indian restaurants in London or Birmingham, but even better as the the decor is just so beautifully curated and it feels like a real treat. The owners are delightful and we savoured every moment. It should be booked out every night, we absolutely loved it.

Best curry house in Argentina.Went twice in the last two months, the food is fantastic, full of flavour, everything you want in a British style curry. The ambience is full of character, the decor and music sets everything off so nicely. Friendly service from both gentleman, one in the kitchen and one front facing in the restaurant. Love the place.

MASH is undeniably one of the finest curry joints in all of Argentina, situated in the heart of San Telmo. The curries are absolutely amazing and stand out as must-try items on the menu, as they are simply to die for. It is clear that the owners take their restaurant seriously, as they even travel to the UK to bring back the right spices, ensuring that the flavors are authentic and of the highest quality. The flatbread is a standout item as well, and the food is exquisitely prepared with a superb blend of spices and herbs that tantalize the taste buds. The proprietors' dedication to their establishment is evident in the attention to detail in the cozy, artistically decorated space, complete with antique furnishings. The ambiance is nothing short of remarkable, on par with the restaurant's excellent cuisine, resulting in an unparalleled dining experience.
I read a lot of reviews about how the owners are rude or that the food takes its time to arrive at the table, or that they lock their doors. The reality is that good things are worth the wait, and one must respect the establishment and its policies, and if one can't do that, they're free to pursue their own restaurant venture elsewhere.

Dinning at Mash is always an experience that you want to repeat. Cozy place, for a close group of friends o romantic dinner to enjoy the best curry in town. Explore the menu and the flavours, find your favourite one. Looking forward to my next visit.

Probably the best British curry spot this side of the Atlantic, smoothly run by its two fantastic owners (one's the chef, the other's at the bar & table service) who will be happy to guide you through the menu and help you adjust spicyness levels. Friendly atmosphere in a cozy setting, with great food at honest prices... can't ask for any better! Make sure to try the lesser known local beers, and pick your favorite among the classics (Chicken Tikka Massala, Madras curry, ...) or the more exotic variants (hat tip to the Cambodian pork with tamarind and lemon preserve!)

This is an absolutely amazing curry restaurant in a city where a good curry is hard to find. I had Beef Vindaloo, and my girlfriend had a Massaman Chicken Curry, and both were delicious. They were well spiced, felt and tasted authentic, and came with lots of cilantro, basmati rice, and one of the best Naan breads I ever had. I also loved that on the menu it said exactly for which region each curry is typical, which just added a nice touch. We are guaranteed to come back, and you should definitely try it out too (but make sure to book a table, it is popular!).

Ok place and ambience. Full marks for food and service!!! Do recommend it for indian food lovers. These Currys are the best I've tasted in Buenos Aires. No Coca-Cola available!!!
