Great and friendly service. Every empanada we tried was amazing and also they had vegetarian options. The pizza was also good but very cheesy. Wine was cheap but still tasty. Only the toilets could have been cleaner. All in all perfect cost/value

La Americana on Av. Callao in Buenos Aires turned out to be an unexpected gem during our stay. We decided to pop in for a quick bite despite it being a chain restaurant, as we typically prefer more authentic dining experiences. However, our visit was a delightful surprise.

The food we sampled here was nothing short of spectacular. Not only were the pizzas delicious, but the empanadas were truly out of this world. And when it came to desserts, they didn't disappoint either; each sweet treat was fresh and mouthwateringly delicious.

This place quickly became our go-to spot for a late-night bite when we were in the mood for something scrumptious after the initial fullness of dinner had worn off. While I can't speak for all their locations, I can wholeheartedly recommend this particular one.

Our visit was made even more memorable thanks to the warm welcome by the manager, Jose, and the exceptional service provided by Ernesto. These two went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable and memorable.

Calientitas are nuclear hot. Amazing empanadas.
Traditional authentic, half of the place is for quick bites standing, half of it is like a seated restaurant.

So many flavours to choose from, The one with carne ofc one of the best. Very quick service, and nice touch you can serve yourself agua de canilla fresh from the tap.

The area is full of offices and people durinh working hours, comes highly recommended for a quick bite during remote working sessions

Great place. Variety of empanadas quiches pizzas and many more things. Extensive menu around Italian flare. The ambiance is subtle and down to earth nothing fancy. Service laid back friendly call them and they will come otherwise they won't bother you asking over and over.
Very good value for your money. Good comes out quickly good portion size. Great flavor food. Good location walking distance from my hotel in a busy walkable street. I'll be back every chance I get.

This place was awesome. It was busy and the gentleman behind the count was really kind and patient with my broken Spanish. He gave me a great suggestion for an empanada that tasted like a slight spicy pizza roll kind of. It was so good. If I am ever back in Buenos Aires I will try to make it back.

When you're in Argentina, Buenos Aires especially, you get to eat a lot of empanadas. Like crazy a lot. After a while you'll develop a taste and get picky. That's just what happens, right? Well, this place has become my favorite. For real!

If you like pizza "de molde" (thick, traditional) rather than "a la piedra" (thin) this is one of the places to go. Add "faina" and a Quilmes chopp and you are in food haven.

Nice local atmosphere. Despite the name (which made me think of deep pan pizza), this place had nice old school waiters, with some nice old school empanadas.

One of the best bang for buck foods you will find in Buenos Aires.

The flan with duce de leche is extremely sweet but is great if shared. The empanadas are some of the best I ever eaten. And the takeout is very well packed.

Don't be fooled by the brightly lit, cafeteria feel - this busy spot serves delicious empanadas and damn tasty pizza. Worth a visit!

The buttery mozzarella, and surprisingly good coffee. is not to be missed.

Tip: get a penguino of wine and a side bottle of fizzy water for a local treat.

Almost across from the Congress building, this place has in my opinion the best empanadas in Argentina and close to the best traditional pizzas. A BA institution that has been around since 1935. A must visit
