What the tour guide doesn’t know about Yerevan can be written on the head of a pin.
Starting at Republic Square, this 3 hour tour winds its way around the city centre. It hits all the right subjects: History, Culture, Religion, Art, Architecture, Science and even offers a few tips for the uninitiated. As great as my home land of Britain is I doff my cap to the depth of Armenian culture.

Tigran, what a friendly tour guide. He explained history, architecture and hidden treasures of beautiful Yerevan.
I'm Turkish and we talked very friendly about our opinions and different sides about what happened in 1915.
Because there are two 'genocide museums' about that year.
One of is in Yerevan argued that Turkish people did genocide.
Other one is in Iğdır city in Turkey and argued Armenian killed Turks.
Despite of manipulations, secrets of history we became good friend and shared our best wishes.
We tasted 'tandır bread', 'sea buckthorn tea', visited some handycraft workshops.
He recommended tasteful Armenian dishes and showed local restaurants.
His guidance facilitate to discover this beautiful city. I spent three wonderful hours and felt in love with spectacular Yerevan.
I highly recommend to meet him and join his tour.

Tigran was the best possible guide. Always with an amazing sense of humour, he took us through history, religion, food, geopolitics and customs in one afternoon. He is an amazing professional and I loved participating in this tour.

This is a very unique walking tour which you most certainly should do! Tigran knows so much about everything to do with Armenia, you won’t have a single question unanswered.

This is a very long walking tour, can be about 3 hours so be prepared to really walk and listen. Tigran is a character with lots of jokes

We had a great tour of Yerevan that was well balanced between modern and historical information. The 'secret sites' we were shown were an added extra as were the helpful tips. It was especially good to be able to talk to a local person who could answer questions about our observations and recent events that affect the country. Thank you Tigran. Highly recommended.

Review is for tour I took in September 2019:
Great tour and extremely informative. Our guide walked through the very interesting history of Armenia and provided tons of context to the architecture that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. Have some interesting stories on the metro, the different celebrations in the country, and overall culture. Highly recommend

Very informative, interesting and easy going tour

The tour was absolutely amazing. It's not only about what the guide Tigran said, but it is also about what an atmosphere he created in the group.
I am not very communicative person, but I enjoyed talking to the tour mates from various countries. I had spent a couple of days in Yerevan, but only while this tour I started to love it.

Tigran is a very good prepared
guide, he also has some visual
materials with him. He tells about
history, culture, modern geopolitics,
and modern daily life in Armenia in
an easy way with wonderful sense of humor.

Five stars and highly recommended!

It’s truly the best walking tour I have done. Tigran is so passionate, kind and wonderful person. We loved every aspect of his tour! I have done a lot of walking tours in different cities but Tigran went well above and beyond my expectations. He gave us restaurants/bars recommendations. We tried some great local food. This trip has everything to be the best! Thank you Tigran, keep up with the great work

Very professional and well executed tour! The guides very visibly know what they are doing and seem to enjoy the work. It was a really great tour and I aquired a new understanding of Armenia as well as Yerevan. A great date idea for history-nerds and in general a great way to get to know the city. Thank you so much!🤩

Mr.Vako is a very knowledgeable person. Tour lasted 3 hours but was worth the time spent. I personally recommend this tour to all those visiting Yerevan BUT REMEMBER!!! Put on some good and comfortable walking shoes. We covered most of the main places in Yerevan on foot. A great tour!!! I took the tour in Nov 2019

This tour was much longer than I expected, but was excellent. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and is obviously very passionate about what he does. Does not take you to the standard places, but more of the backstreet knowledge, as well as having some amazing suggestions at authentic restaurnants and cafes to visit.

If you do one thing in Yerevan, let it be this tour! Seriously, I've done many a free walking tour in many different cities, but seldom had such a friendly, open-minded guide who knows SO much about the history and current events of his city and country and tells about it in such a enthusiastic and easily understandable way. Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed Tigrans tour and would recommend it to anyone who wants to discover (hidden gems in) Yerevan:)!

Tigran is an excellent guide. I thoroughly enjoyed the free walking tour he runs, with a perfect balance of history, humor and insights. We tried food and drinks, saw many of the sights of Yerevan, and learned a lot about the country and people. It is one of the best walking tours I have been on. Do this as priority when you get to Yerevan.

Okies! Thinking that you will get away without a guide backed up with info from Google and YouTube is very wrong and not working! Tigran has made it so interesting and I am100% sure that without him I would miss a bunch of important stuff what makes Armenia- Armenia and brings you to the best understanding of peculiarities of this beautiful country! Thank you, dear Guide! I recommend everyone! You won’t regret!
