Embassy of India

It was the first time we dealt with an Indian Embassy. We attended a consular camp in Georgia for submission of documents for the Birth Registration & Passport for our new born babies here in Georgia. The camp was led by Mr Arup Mukherjee & Mr Manoranjan Sahu. We had a top class consular service experience by these two honorable officers. Typically, there is some stress when you visit a camp that is just for a day as if the documents are missing you either need to go to Armenia or wait until next camp. But as soon as our turn came up and we entered the meeting room, they made us comfortable saying we are going to take time and check documents so that we ensure you don't have to travel to Armenia. They asked who is taking care of the babies while we are here and if we have time to go through the documents. They ran through the checklist they had handy and verified all documents and we were done in an hour. We witnessed same sort of feelings amongst other Indian citizens who had came for the consular services. Truly, a great class of service provided by the Embassy of India, Yerevan.

Documents, including passports, are normally dispensed in the time period 16:00-16:30, Mon-Friday. If an appointment is fixed, then as per the appointment. Parking is difficult - there is an hospital on both sides of the embassy, though road parking is normally possible towards the right of the embassy (ie, right-hand side when facing the embassy). The hospital on the LHS is much busier, but there is also a cafe there where one can have a bite and/or wait for a cab... ☺

I interacted Consulate office for my son's passport inquiry from India. They gave very good detail information. My son is student abroad and had to get his passport renewed from minor to major. The details and updates provided by the officers are highly appreciated. Fantastic Services, Thank you Officer who ever helped in this.
