Dolmama - Armenia's Restaurant

We went there for lunch at 2pm. Unassuming on the outside but wow, amazing food and ambience inside. We ate:

- Rolled eggplant
- Wild mushroom
- Lamb dolma
- Fig roll

Great food at a great price! Love the Armenian plates as well as the salads. Great restaurant that doesn't feel like a chain! Love this place! They have indoor and outdoor seating with great full atmosphere. Ofc I’ll try again with different meals.

Excellent traditional Armenian restaurant. Service is a bit slow, took us 2.5hours to finish our dinner but it was worth the wait for each dish. A bit pricey. The pork ribs is a must try.

Very cosy and romantic place. High service. Food quality is excellent!!! Prices are not cheap. However, if you want high service with good Armenian traditional food you should definitely visit Dolmama. Reservation is not require.

I had researched a little before reaching Yerevan. And most of the websites recommended Dolmama. And it totally lived up to the expectation.

I followed the map and found the place which was a little hard actually. There was a door in the middle of nowhere. But it lead to this amazing restaurant inside.

They led to our seats and the service was simply impressive. From suggesting us food, since they are traditional Armenian cuisine. To gives us drinks. It was just perfect.

We had the Dolmama, ofcourse! And it was brilliant. The flavour of grape leaves completed the meat so well. We ordered the Lamb Shank, it was soft and blended in the gravy so well. We also tried the chicken pie, and it was good too.

For desserts the waiter suggested the Pakhlava and Fig Rolls. And it was heavenly.

Must Try: Dolmama and Pakhlava

It's definitely the most expensive restaurant I've eaten at in Armenia, but it's honestly worth the price for a fancy meal. This is where all the celebrities/foreign dignitaries go when they come to Armenia, so you know the food is good. Highly recommend anything with lamb.

The Atmosphere and the food was greaaaat

Very cosy and relaxed place with very good Armenian food, right in the centre of Yerevan. Pleasant and good service. There are several tables in the garden.

Reminded me of my Grandmothers home. I felt so comfortable here the food was good and the waiter was so nice! My cousin recommend for our trip Thank-you Ara!!!! The Cherry liqueur~~~ the best!

As an Armenian who is very accustomed to eating at home, I am amazed at how authentic and sincere the traditional food is. it is like my grandmother is in the kitchen herself.

It is my number one place to recommend in Yerevan.

We had a lovely lunch! The waiter was great, the food was wonderful, and the outdoor courtyard was perfect. There were even a couple vegan options for me, while the rest of my parents enjoyed the meats!

What a wonderful place!! This was amazing! Perfect weather, perfect atmosphere! The food has high quality, they even gave me an additional piece of ice-cream with pakhlava. Great staff and professional service. Highly recommended!

Very good food, nice restaurant. There was a mistake with the bill and I saw it too late when I was already back home but they reimbursed me the amount anyway which worked without a problem, very kind and professionally!

Deeeelicious!!!!... I'm editing and updating my initial 'Deeeelicious'. Best food in Yerevan... maybe the best in Armenia😁 The steak, trout, lamb stew and Dolmama-Dolma are amazing. Wish I could stay to keep working through the menu! Oh and the Armenian coffee is like rocket fuel... In a good way. Merci!
