Очень красивое правительственное здание, внутрь не пускают, так как это режимный объект, а не музей. Но снаружи данное здание украшает собой Площадь Республики и присутствует хотя бы на одной фотографии каждого, кто бывал в Ереване. Одна из визитных карточек города, днём и вечером выглядит одинаково внушительно, но при этом без лишнего пафоса. Куранты бьют каждый час. По периметру дежурит полиция и следит за порядком.

Находится на площади Республики. Автор - народный архитектор Арм. ССР Александр Таманян (1878-1936 гг.).Дом правительства является первым зданием, построенным на центральной овальной площади, предусмотренной генеральным планом Александра Таманяна в 1924 году.

Здание правительства Армении построено из розового фельзитового туфа, на базальтовом основании. Находится на площади Республики. Автор - академик архитектуры, народный архитектор Армении Александр Таманян.
