Beautiful experience, we've booked a double room at the last minute. The girl Eve was very very kind (it was her first day) and helpful also with calling the taxi. Sorry if I wrote the name wrong! Easy to find, the room was clean with a private bathroom, not shared. Good price. Recommended.

Great community and extremely friendly staff. It's easy to make new acquaintances there. All of the staff (Aida, Mané, Rafa and Erik) were trying their very best to be helpful and succeeded at that. They very competently managed all matters that came up during my stay. Aida is just the best.
The single room isn't priced competitively however (considering you can get 4 star hotel rooms for approx. the same price)

I stayed in the hostel, it was very clean, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The beds a comfortable, nice kitchen. I took the “enlightened Armenia tour” it was fantastic, the food was amazing in the locals house. My guide was Edgar, he was very educated on the situation happening in his country 10/10.

We had an eye-opening tour of Armenia. My family had an amazing day. Our guide Christina was engaging and knowledgeable. Thanks to our skilled driver, we had a safe and comfortable journey. Lunch with locals was the best part. Highly recommended!

I had the opportunity to stay at Envoy Hostel in Yerevan for two nights, and I must say, the overall experience was fantastic. While it was my first time staying at this specific location, I am no stranger to the Envoy Hostel brand. They consistently deliver excellent service and maintain high-quality standards for their guests. The only minor concern I had was that the hostel layout was a bit complicated. To reach our private double room, we needed to pass through the main hostel area and exit through a locked door at the back before finally entering our room. It might not be an issue for some but we felt a little lazy if we want to go back to the hostel or to the pantry.

Anyhow, still the hostel is great, the staff are amazing and I will still come back to this hostel.

I stayed at this hostel and everything was perfect. Big kitchen and common area. Friendly staff, good wifi and toilets. Room was small but good enough for a couple of days.
We also took a tour with them which was amazing!

For the Yerevan Envoy, first it is in a perfect location, surrounded by cafes, eclectic bars, basement pubs, shops, parks ... and close to the Cascades and Opera House. Second, it is a nice clean facility, very quiet, a decent common room and kitchen in the basement, bathroom and shower very clean. Third, the staff was very engaging and helpful, they offered free city walking tours and a full spectrum of paid tours. For the room, I had the second floor single (with bunk beds) that had a small balcony along the street side, which was very enjoyable to have the door open while I worked to enjoy the muted bustle of the city, but had very limited street noise at night (silent with door closed). My hosts were astounded when I asked them to transfer me from the Ramada to the Envoy, but for me it was an excellent move, there were several other guests that were 50+. Also, just a half block away was a fantastic "ethnic bar", the Calumet (don't miss this) and excellent fast food, the Grill.am, but the Beatles Pub further down the street really stunk (rude bartender, too loud music). Thank you again, Envoy, hope to see y'all again.

We finally did 3 tours in Armenia with Envoy Tour. Guides are just fabulous, you can ask anything, and get competent answers for everything. The tours are amazing well, sympathic and familiar organized, among others: the family lunch breaks. Drivers and busses super save, smooth and clean. We startet by chance with the yerewan Soviet tour, and enjoyed so much, that we spontaneously booked 2 more day tours which were perfect nice. Thanks soo much to the whole team! With love Doris & Alex. Tourists: Go & try.

Envoy Hostel's Soviet Yerevan tour is a must-do! My tour guide Edgar was exceptional. He knows everything and is very funny. I learned so much, met nice people from around the world, and had a great time. And there are snacks!

This review is overdue (by about 2 years) but I would like to add that I always had a great time here. I've stayed here at least half a dozen times. The location is as good as it gets for Yerevan, the breakfast is complimentary (although you should check this first; again it's been awhile), the bunks are comfortable, and, I assume through reputation, it attracts friendly and interesting travelers. I'll leave it with this: you can feel confident about booking a room here.

I took a room for myself for around 40 euros. It's quite small, but it's the location, you know.
The folks here speak perfect English, have guided tours across the whole country and even beyond Armenia, everyday.

Awesome hostel, welcoming people and great atmosphere. Had a blast talking and watching the World Cup with the the staff, owner and other guests. Also, thanks again to Chris for the "Enlightened Armenia" tour. I highly recommend the experience to everyone. Stay safe!

Very good location and very helpful staff, all of them fluent in English and locals.
The tours are maybe a bit more expensive than others but a very tasty Lunch and all the entrance fees are included. Also the guide knows a lot. Highly recommended!

Arrived in Tbilisi on 02/05/2022
My time at Envoy Tbilisi was amazing … without doubt the best hostel in the best location in all of Tbilisi… all the staff were very friendly and there is an amazing roof terrace with the most wonderful views of the city and old town. Common area and kitchen on the ground floor with space and seats in the garden . The rooms are very clean and the beds were very comfortable after a long days trekking…. Washing machines and dryers are also available upon request …. Board games books and guitar too

Massive thanks to everyone at Envoy Tbilisi for making my time there so memorable 🙏🇺🇦

Outstanding facilities: large shower compartments, comfy common area and kitchen, high standards of cleanliness. The staff is very accommodating and helpful, and the breakfast is filling and delicious. It's a hostel that's suitable both for the solo traveler who might want to spontaneously join a group tour or hike from the hostel and for the group traveler looking for affordable accommodations in the heart of Yerevan. The hostel is easily reached with the airport bus -- our driver dropped us off just around the corner from it.

We went from Yerevan to Tbilisi with this tour from Envoy Hostel and every penny we invested in this trip was worth it! The Monasteries we visited are really beautiful!

Our guide Angela was incredible sharing the stories, the culture and the tradition. She is really smart and kind, making this tour a very enriching experience. She is really professional, but we still felt like we were talking to a friend. The way she answered the questions and interacted with us is amazing!

Oh, and the lunch they offered us is unbelievable: it’s in a local house with local dishes. Everything was delicious!

And our drivers was also really responsible!

We totally recommend this trip! We loved it!

Best Hostel in town. It offers a good variety of comfortable and clean rooms. Moreover the breakfast is always included, and even if it's not a huge breakfast, it is a good way to start your day. Even the private rooms are really modern and plenty of space. If you are visiting Yerevan, indeed this is to place where to stay.

The staff was super helpful before and during the stay. The common kitchen has all the required equipment(except bottle opener, I couldn't find it at least). It contains a free tour around the town, and you can request for that even when you are alone. The guide is friendly, and the tour covers almost all of the historical monuments in Yerevan. The tour helped me get a better understanding of the town an Armenians. The room and bathrooms are clean. The breakfast was enough for a fresh start in the morning, but I would be happier if it contains more options. I stayed in this hostel for two days, and I encourage you to consider it as your first option if you travel to Yerevan, especially as a young tourist :)
Update: I forgot to mention that the staff showed me the bottle opener, but it was not in the shape that I expected.

Clean, with friendly staff who go above and beyond for their guests. They’re great for recommendations and will call you a taxi if you’re too lazy to download the GG app. It’s not necessarily fair, but I measure every hostel experience to the staff at the Envoy.

Their tours are great too. I took a tour to Georgia, and Angela was so knowledgeable and it was honestly one of the best tours. She was also really helpful in trying to get us a taxi once we got to Georgia.
