Maria is the best host! It felt like an authentic experience staying at an 18th-century traditional mountain home. The food was great, grown or raised right there. I don't eat meat but found enough to eat, like vegetables, cheese, and bread. Rooms are basic but adequate. Stop by at the next door cafe for coffee and see Victor. The location is 45 min walk from town and adds to the ambiance. I found the town to be too busy.

Loved it ! The host, Maria, is incredible. Friendly, an amazing cook, we felt very welcome and like at home. Good dinner and breakfast. Raki in front of the fire after a long day. Comfy room and hot showers. Friendly hosts. What else do you need ?!

If you want to stay in an authentic Albanian accommodation, hosted by insanely hospitable people and fed with homemade, healthy food, in a quiet location, in the middle of an idyllic, majestic mountain massif, where you can hike and swim in crystal clear mountain rivers, then this is your place. But don't expect a 3-star hotel in the classic sense: there are double and multi-bed rooms with private bathrooms, dormitories with shared bathrooms and delicious homemade breakfast and dinner. However, it is not a luxury apartment where everything is cleaned to a high gloss, but rather a rustic and peasant-simple accommodation and way of life. The rooms are very spartan and simply furnished, there are only the most necessary things. This should be taken into account if you are interested. But if you can get involved with it, you will spend a really wonderful time here!

We had the best stay at Maria's place. She is warm and welcoming, authentic Albanian hospitality. Food was delicious too. Miss it already.

Beautiful historical building with spectacular views over the cliff. Maria was an amazing host making sure we felt totally at home and cooking delicious meals with fresh incredients from the farm. Peaceful location down the valley from theth perfect for starting the hike to Vusanje.

Located half an hour (by foot) from Theth you find yourself in the middle of nature with beautiful views.
Food is home made and very delicious.

Let me just start with the breakfast: those pancakes still visit me in my loveliest dreams. Maria is a wonderful person who makes you feel at home. Best place to stay in Theth, we wish we could‘ve stayed longer. Be careful when using toilet paper though, NOT speaking from experiece, but it might clog the toilet. Thank you, Maria for introducing me to pancake heaven.

Very charming place. Maria is always kind and thoughtful. The food we had here was the best during our tour in Albania. The only downside are the termites that sometimes gnaw in the ceiling during bedtime. Very authentic otherwise.

Its ok to driver a normal car down there… just use the road from the main-town and don’t drive late at night…

A tower over 300 years old. Nature around is wonderful. Surrounded by mountain peaks over 2400 - 2500 m. Everywhere there is purity. All meals are bio. It's very special, you feel like in your home.

Marija is an incredible host, never tired, always on deck. Her breakfasts are generous, her dinners incredible, a really lovely place to stay !

Very nice family that served us food during our hike. Despite not speaking english they were really nice to us!

God created miracles for people, nature is nourishing them.
