Our stay at Marashi Guesthouse, under the care of the lovely hosts Leta and Beni, was an absolute delight. Nestled in the heart of Theth in the Albanian Alps, this charming retreat provided us with an unforgettable experience.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by Leta and Beni, who made us feel like part of their family. The accommodations at Marashi Guesthouse were cozy and comfortable, but the real showstopper was the breathtaking view from the balcony. Overlooking the majestic mountains, winding river, and lush valley below, every moment spent on the balcony felt like a scene from a postcard.

Leta's homemade meals were another highlight of our stay. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, showcasing the flavors of the region with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Whether it was breakfast with a view or dinner under the stars, every meal was a memorable experience.

In addition to the stunning views and delicious food, Leta and Beni provided invaluable recommendations for exploring Theth and the surrounding area. From scenic hiking trails to hidden gems waiting to be discovered, they helped us make the most of our time in this picturesque corner of the world.

Overall, our experience at Marashi Guesthouse was truly magical. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and filled with gratitude for the memories we made. We cannot recommend Marashi Guesthouse highly enough and cannot wait to return for another unforgettable stay. We stayed in this guesthouse for 2 nights and had an amazing experience. The rooms are incredibly clean and the food is so tasty! It is run by a family so the atmosphere is really warm and welcoming, all the family members are so nice! We really recommend staying here if in Theth!

Great place to stay! The owners will go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. The food is home cooked and very delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean. The views from the guesthouse are breathtaking. Will definitely return!

This family is wonderful. We felt like at home. Had a really warm welcome and the room is really cozy. Beni acted like a grandfather with the children and Violeta is also great. Their son is also excellent with the guests. Food with good quality and great views to the river and mountain while having breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean and warm (we were here in April). Breakfast was included in the price. The food was wonderful. We also ate dinner here. They served us traditional food and it was delicious. They offered items with and without meat.
The Guesthouse is a 35 minute walk to the waterfall. Make sure not to miss this!

Great guesthouse with friendly hosts. Stayed here for two nights when we hiked from and back to Valbona. The room we had was clean and big enough, bathroom was small, but functional. Every meal, dinner or breakfast, was a true feast and more than enough.

Klaudia and her family really know what hospitality means! They work really hard to make you feel welcome in every way. I spent my birthday here and they made sure I had everything I needed. My boyfriend wanted to do something special so he contacted the owners. They laid rosepetals in the bedroom with a nice bottle of wine. It was amazing!

The homemade dinner and breakfast was amazing and the room (we had the rooftop) was so beautiful and very clean. The views of the surrounding mountains are spectaculair, especially from the balcony. Would recommend this place to everyone! Thanks for an amazing stay (and birthday).

We researched many guesthouses in Theth before choosing this one and we made the right choice. it is right by the new bridge (leading to theth blue eye hike), it is very easily accessable, the food is amazing and so fresh, the atmosphere warm and inviting. The rooms are upscale, comfortable and immaculate. So many thoughtful details. I’d recommend 100% and we would choose this again.

Only gave a 4* for the room as there were some issues with the jacuzzi, otherwise it is an amazing experience, highly recoomend!

The owners are extremely friendly, lovely and helpful. The home-made food is absolutely delicious and authentic. Our room was very nice with a unforgettable view to the mountains! Last but not least, the booking and communication was very easy going :-)

When you visit Theth, you should stay in guesthouse marashi!

I would describe the stay in this guesthouse as an unique experience, the staff is very understanding and very welcoming and the rooms are cozy. The only downside is that the jacuzzi doesn’t have enough room for 2 people to bath simultaneously, and once a person has bathed in it, the other one is gonna have to wait a few hours until the water gets warm again, but all in all I’d definitely recommend this place.

Best place I have ever been. We felt totally at home, the room is beautiful with nice views to the mountain and the family makes you feel totally welcome. They are nice, always smiling and help you with anything you need. Dinner and breakfast are amazing. A hug from Salamanca to Marashi Guesthouse :)

A welcoming family, nice and clean rooms, excellent location. You really feel like home during your stay. The pleasant noise of the river outside your window is just amazing. I really thank you for hosting us and making our stay in the magical Theth very comfortable. They can arrange visits to the blue eye and return trips to Shkodër upon request. Don't miss the dinners prepared by the beautiful mother, it is an essential part of this guest house experience.

Guesthouse Marashi provides the ultimate luxury "glamping" in the heart of the Theth National Park. The location is smack bang in the centre of the village with view of the famous church, making it perfect for those without a private vehicle. All potential hikes can easily be started from the guesthouse itself. The room with the jacuzzi overlooking the river is truly one of a kind in Theth! The restaurant provides copious amounts of food for their guests. Although the accommodation may be on the pricier side for the area, it is definitely well worth the money. Thank you for making my stay in Theth so relaxing!

Amazing views with great hospitality. The rooms are very clean and cosy. The breakfast that is offered is fresh and organic with very generous portions. If you want luxury then look no further and book their suite which has beautiful views and a jacuzzi.

Amazing spot in Theth. The hosts are lovely and make you feel right at home. The guesthouse itself is by the river so you can hear the calming sound of the water. It's close to both the Blue Eye hike and the Valbona pass. The food is home made and delicious, I tried the restaurant in town and liked the Marashi family's food better.

We booked two nights at the last minute with my friends on a roadtrip. Very clean, the food is delicious, but most importantly, the hosts are amazing people. A kindness that is rare in the hotel business. Thanks to them, I wish them the best.

The most incredibly kind and warm hosts. Jaw dropping scenes all around the guest house. Hiking trails very close by everything is picturesque and surreal.

The room was beautiful and charming- (for couples I would recommend asking if they have room 201). The bed is comfortable and the room has all necessary amenities including a hair dryer and even stable WiFi.

The hosts were incredibly helpful with arranging transport to and from Theth from Skoder and made us feel welcome from the second we stepped out of the car.

The food is outstanding and quite possibly the best meal we have had in Albania. The portions are generous and the quality is exceptional. We informed them that we don't eat meat and they arranged a beautiful mix of fish and numerous vegetarian options. I would come back again just for the dinner!
