Palace Hotel & SPA

Bravo Palace Hotel & spa. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The spa sauna is relaxing, however the jacuzzi and indoor pool water was cold :( The octopus and mushrooms dish at dinner in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. The included breakfast was top tier— given that we only paid 60€ for the standard room in the off-season we couldn’t be more pleased. We wished we had skipped other parts of our trip to have had more time luxuriating in this hotel.

My wife & I enjoyed a beautiful stay here, room was available well before check in time of 2pm.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was incredible, definitely the best I experienced this year in Europe.

The sauna & gym are great, although in peak season I don’t think they’d deal with the crowds.The restaurants food is great also.

Compared to other 5 stars I’ve stayed in, I’d say that this hotel is comparable to a 4 star. How ever my stay was nothing short of fantastic

Great room, friendly personal ( both check-in and restaurant), really helpful staff with parking.
At the restaurant they changed the dish that they mistakenly brough admiting that it was their mistake.
One minus is the Spa. The sauna is outdated. Some boards are missing from the beds. An update wouldn't hurt.

The views around pool area and overall vibe you get is very good considering the price you pay.

It is a good option if you want to stay near Beach but also not too far from city centre as it is just 7-10 minutes away from central.
The rooms are clean. Although the neighbourhood looks a bit dirty but if you stay around beach area and take a taxi to central it is a nice place for couple of nights.

Great hotel in a good location by the beach. Good comfortable rooms. Food in restaurants is excellent. Staff were all very friend.

A luxury hotel with very professional service, its own swimming pool and access to the beach. Valet very helpful and parks the car himself. A large room that meets the requirements of the most demanding customers. Free upgrade offered off season which is a very pleasant surprise. Breakfast at the highest level. One of the best.

In fact i have not been in a room but i used to go to their restaurant. Really a good one, good service and good quality. They accepted my order to make something not form the menu for my child. The hotel has Good prices for the zone

Very nice place , quite & relaxing. Room big, service good, restaurant excellent. It’s true sometimes the music on the pool is to loud .. but it’s summer , Saturday vibes… Pool and Spa are cleaned … just a note on breakfast, I hope in some rotation, I’m 5 days it was all the same .. good but later boring .

One of the best experience’s in Durres. The service and the food was super delicious especially deserts. The waiter with the name Marsid was the best. 👍🏻

The staff are friendly. The property is gr8. Needed a little modernisation but it is very nice. The beach is full of services, drinks, snacks, etc. The water color is not the best in the world but it is not shallow even after a long walk. The gym and SPA are not the biggest but it is good to keep us fit during our holiday. In general, nice place to stay in, enjoying it very much. The food in the restaurant is best quality, but the selection is not huge.

Wonderful place. Rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished. Everything is close and accessible, sea, deck chairs, swimming pool, SPA, restaurant. Secure parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Everything is subordinated to the guest. Recommendation 10 *!

Nothing at all to complain about except they only had availability for one night and we wanted two. Beautiful room, clean, great views, good location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Towels and drink service for the beach, too. I'm suspect of people who say this is not clean or mildewy. The hotel is literally spotless right down to sweeping and mopping the beach walk.

The palace hotel is a stunning hotel, very clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My room was very large and well equipped. I had the deluxe room with a very comfortable king-size bed, a Juliet balcony facing directly over the pool and beach, with a very usable side balcony which still had a Seaview. There was ample seating and loungers around the pool and on the beach, with lots of comfortable chairs and sofas, cabanas and shade. Breakfast on the fifth floor sitting outside overlooking the beach was an amazingly enjoyable experience, with a fabulous buffet style breakfast, with plenty of choices. Though I would say that the cooked offering wasn’t perhaps the best (for someone from the UK or States). Special mention has to go to the wonderful housekeeping staff. The absolute highlight for me was Uni, the masseuse in the Spa; I booked a massage with her on the first day and explained how I had had back surgery about six weeks ago and she suggested a 45 minute therapeutic massage which was the best massage I had ever had; so much so that I booked another one for the day before I left as well! Thank you too all the staff for making my first and I’m sure not my last, visit to Albania so enjoyable.

Nice Hotel, with newly renovated rooms.  The hotel seems to be absolutely packed in the evenings, offering live entertainment and music till late in the evening.  The bar, restaurant, and outside Pavillion are very well visited, providing an inviting atmosphere. Food is good (especially the fried calamari, and pizza), waiters are very friendly even though some surprisingly don't understand much English.  Keep in mind that it's not really a 5 star hotel as we are accustomed to in Europe.  No one to collect your bags, no beach towels and there are no treatments offered in the "spa", but the prices for the accommodations and food are very fair, and the staff certainly makes an effort. There is a very small fitness room, with a bench, squat rack and dumbbells.  The cardio equipment could use updating and there needs to be a sign prohibiting children under the age of 12 to access!!! 7 year Olds, soaking wet from the pool should not be permitted to sit on the equipment, nor pick up DB and drop them along the floor as they are too heavy to return to the rack properly.
There are 4 elevators available, though I would highly suggest that they designate 1 elevator during the day FOR STAFF AND CONSTRUCTION USE ONLY!!! We waited forever on the elevators, which needlessly stopped at every floor or was in use by the cleaning/construction staff. This was extremely annoying!!
Breakfast was always on time and quite good, especially the eggs, bread, coffee, croissants, and walnut cake.
The beach (as all common areas in the hotel) is very clean.  There always seems to be some housekeeping about cleaning and moping.
The beach has nice sand, and food and drinks are served by friendly staff. The beds are very comfortable.
Something worth mentioning...... The service was often inconsistent. Ex: one day the fried calamari was served with tenticles, some days without, some days I got bread with my salad, some days not, 2 days our room was not made up and it was always uncertain if we be given 6 small and 2 big towels, or another combination 😂 some days I was asked if I was a hotel guest or requested to give my room number, on other occasions not. Same with the breakfast buffet.. A little variety is totallly OK, but some days there was no dark bread, or no ham, or limited fruit. There should be a little more consistency in this regard.
Location is great, as there are many restaurants and bars in the area, and the "downtown" area and interstate are only a few minutes away.  A big thank you to the guy organizing the parking outside. He was always smiling and insuring that everyone got a space. He was very polite and made it a joy to return to the hotel when seeing his friendly face.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at the Royal G and would certainly recommend it to others.

Royal G hotel and spa is an ideal place for e everyone to relax and have an excellent experience. The sea is near, rooms are clean and the food is very delicious.
I recommend it 100%.

It is a beach hotel with very nice view, staffs and well located. Highly recommended!
