The owner Walter is very friendly and gave me a very warm welcome.
The food was good, the menu offers a good selection of traditional courses.

Best food in all of Albania! Authentic dishes and cooked with love. Also- beautiful view from the restaurant! We will be coming back.

Comfortable & very clean rooms ,shiny restaurant and very well decorated .. ! Tasty food ,I have to note oshaf dessert (made with milk and dry figs ) it is on top ! Even the rest of the food was delicious !

The food was delicious, the service was very nice, the prices were reasonable, I really liked the decor inside, the music added a nice atmosphere, personally I liked the stuffed eggplant the most, it was perfect, if you are in the area I highly recommend this place.

The place was located near the castle and it has an amazing view of the city below. The traditional cuisine was top tier, best dishes I tried in Albania and the prices weren't expensive at all unlike the other restaurants we ate in.

They waved me inside on a drizzly cold afternoon and I enjoyed delicious homemade stuffed aubergine, fresh bread and mountain tea. Very sweet people and wonderful food made by a kind lady. I'll be back next time, for sure.

We ate there, the food was super nice. It’s a family business so always the family got the best food. Me and my girl had chicken with paprika, fries and meet balls they were so delicious definitely worth the visit. This is your place for the best food in town✌

Very friendly restaurant, with good service and amazing traditional food, Id recommend it to anyone looking to taste some real traditional dishes.

Best restaurant in Gjirokaster! We happen to find it while driving into the city where the owner gave us directions to our hotel. Super friendly staff, the food came out quick and it was the best food we had during our stay in the city! We especially loved the spinach pie, meatballs and cottage cheese with peppers. We loved it so much we decided to go back again on our last dinner in the city. I could not recommend it enough!

Very tasty food, good portions and great value for the money! A warming family run this place. And they went beyond to prepare the Moussaka even though it took them 30+ minutes, upon our request.
My favorite was the Chicken Tigania and Yellow Fried Chease. Highly recommend!

The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing. There was a restaurant(which had an amaizing view of the castle) where we tried the best traditonal food.
Walking distance to every attractions for visiting in the town such as the castle,museums and the bazzar😍

We had visited the restaurant while we were in Gjirokaster last week. The food was really perfect! You can easily taste how fresh ingridients they use. We really loved everything we ate. The owners were very friendly and wellcoming. You should at least eat one time in there while visiting Gjirokaster.

Just went in this awesome place today in Gjirokastra…Such friendly owners, that I had the chance to talk to.I tried a tradicional dessert called “Oshaf” that is made by the lady of the house. A must, on your next visit on Gjirokastra!

We’ve visited this wonderful place twice during our Albanian holiday in the days. It’s absolutely a MUST to visit if you are around Gjirokastër. A truly cute traditional cuisine in front of the castle. The restaurant is operated by a local family. The owner’s son & his best friend served us during our stay there. They were all super nice and friendly with great command of English knowledge. We can only highly recommend this spot for all of you! Thank you guys again for the fantastic foods.
