Resort Kerculla

The place is beautiful with a breathtaking view. The staffs were warm and exceptional. The food was amazing, one of the best we had in Albania.
You need to add this place to your winter travel list because you can never stop looking at the snow covered mountains illuminated by the setting sun.

Actually 10/10 for all the facilities. Spacious and clean Luxury rooms made with really care! Breathtaking views, top breakfast, quality food and delicate wines from the owner that collects the bets wines!

What can I say! Well done to the owner that gives his soul to this magnificent place!

Amazing hotel (but not a resort). Located on the top of the hill (you do need a car) but breathtaking views. It seems you are in the middle of a book! Great swimming pools and lounge area. Everything is well maintained and clean. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good and there is always something new. Restaurant is okay, expected more from it, for example, once we ordered ice cream for dessert and it was served melted; when we complained, the waiter said it was a problem of the fridge and didn't care anymore. I'd recommend this place, you can rest and enjoy it.

Absolutely amazing experience here. So glad we decided to drive down. You can see the Castle from your window. It’s a 10 min drive to the historic center of the city or the castle. The entire staff is incredible friendly and helpful. Don’t hesitate on this one. You won’t regret it.

If you visit Albania and have the time, this place is a must! Settled in the top of the mountain this hotel is unique in several ways. The architecture, the location and the service have a standard that is very rare. In all the places that I visited, this was probably the best one! The owner of the hotel is usually there and he is super friendly and professional. Don't miss it!

Even though there was no room available while driving by, the host was so nice for us and gave us some tips and immediately made some calls to get us going. Very friendly! It is also a beautiful place to have lunch/dinner or drink something overlooking the mountains.

My partner and I had dinner and drinks here and it was lovely.
The views and atmosphere were stunning. We sat in the courtyard overlooking the pool and mountains!
We shared a traditional mix platter followed by a penne pasta and chicken breast dish. The food was fresh and full of flavour. They even gave us a complimentary fruit platter to finish.
Would definitely come back here and stay next time. If you’re visiting Gjirokaster, make sure you visit!

I would say this was the most beautiful hotel/location we stayed at in Albania. Clean and spacious rooms, an amazing pool with an even more amazing view over the city and very friendly staff. Breakfast is also great. Price/performance ratio is unbeatable.

It's a great place to enjoy both the stunning view of Gjirokastra and the excellent service during your stay at the resort. Such a combination can truly enhance the overall experience and make for a memorable trip in Albania.

Resort Kerculla has a great restaurant that overlooks the city, the castle and the surrounding snowcap mountains (winter time). It is beautiful and surreal. The service is excellent. The food and wine are superb. The restaurant has amazing local dishes that are worth trying. We came for a day in the city and enjoyed the food at the resort (30 minute walk up from the Old Bazaar). The prices are reasonable. Credit card payments are accepted. Highly recommend the restaurant!

A very nice Hotel, Restaurant and Service! Nice clean pools, great view of the city! Even though it is a new facility, the building features a good and correct way of representating traditional architecture and masonery craftsmanship of the city of Argyrocastra! Totally worth visiting!

Very nice hotel on top of the mountain in Gjirokastra. View is spectacular, personnel is friendly and the rooms are nicely fitted. All in all I can recommend staying here!

I stayed here with my husband and my two sons. We were visiting my husbands family who live in Gjirokastër. The views from the hotel are amazing and the breakfast was massive with plenty to choose from. The boys enjoyed playing in the pool which never seemed busy. You are supplied with clean beach towels to have around the pool. The waiters work very hard, are very friendly and can not do enough for you. I read a review someone saying that the staff children were mean to other children but I must say they were nothing be kind and friendly to our boys and even offered to have them playing a game with them. All the staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed the food for lunch and dinner and the menu had plenty of options to choose from.

The air con was amazing and the room was always nice and cool, also the window shutters were god send as you could nap when ever you likes without the daylight impacting on the darkness of the room

The rooms are cleaned as and when you request it and of a very high standard.

Me and my family have made some amazing memories here and we look forward to coming back very soon.

Beautiful hotel and amazing view on the old town, the mountain and the castle. The staff is very friendly and the grilled lamb was absolutely delicious.
