This is a family owned business. The food is great, they used a lot of fresh herbs. We ordered yogurt with fruit, stuffed pepper with rice, moussaka and potatoes. they gave us compliment drinks made from cinnamon. I am not a big fans of cinnamon but the kid loves it and he drank all. The complimentary water melon is sweet too. Not sure about the bread but I think should be complimentary but I didn't accept it because we were sure we cannot finished it.

Very yummy home cook food. We love the meatball soup so much we order it twice! The broth is so creamy and flavorful. Highly recommend!

If I could, I would give 10* in service. The couple as so gentle and so nice. Food was tasty indeed. They can not speak good english. But, it did not affect the communication between us. Yes, the restaurant looks bit older, the decoration is not so eye catching. But, do not hesitate to visit there. Good food is waiting for you... Recommended...!

Traditional restaurant offering dishes with local produced ingredients in a very cozy garden. The food was amazing and the staff is very friendly.
If you're looking for a genuine taste of the local cuisine in a simple yet delightful setting, this restaurant is a must-visit! In our opinion the best restaurant in the area!

We sat upstairs on the roof terrace and the gentleman who served us was so friendly and welcoming. He clearly loves his town and gave us recommendations as well as serving some beautiful food.

We had a good lunch here. Great terrace and good service. Most tourists go to Kardashi across the street, but that's probably only because they went viral on TripAdvisor. Lani is a great place to visit on your walk to or from the Ali Pasha bridge :)

I ordered stuffed eggplant and beer. This came with some bread. Total cost 550 lek.
The food was good. The staff was friendly. There were two people serving and they were very busy. One could see them running around with food and empty plates, so probably they might have not managed to clean the tables straight away after each customers left.

Staying nearby for a few days, we tried a couple restaurants in this little neighborhood. Taverna Lani was our favorite; from the food to the lovely family running it, we enjoyed every moment.

A small family owned tavern with great home-made food.
The tavern was small and we were hesitating to go at first, but we didn’t regret it. Food was nothing fancy, but all very decent, spiced with a lot of local oregano. We ordered byrek with spinach, country salad, stuffed aubergine and got some small extras like bread and fruits served on the side. They were also very attentive to our 20 m.o. child and served him yogurt which was not on the menu. Definitely recommended!

Great traditional place for having dinner or lunch. The food was delicious and big portions, the family running the taverna very friendly and the owner always kind making us feeling like home. I definitely recommend this place! I recommend the mixed Byrek (a traditional pie mixed with pepers, onin, tomato and cheese) and the meat balls. For dessert, we have tried the Oshaf (a traditional pudding made of dried figs, sugar and sheep milk), all delicious!!!

We decided to visit this place and repay the kindness after the owner - Lani, offered his help by showing us the way to our hotel.

Let me tell you, this is a hospitality experience. If you want to feel right at home and enjoy someone cooking for you, be sure to stop by.

We were welcomed with a free homebrewed clove extract drink, and treats. You could tell the food was cooked with love and we were treated like house guests, not clients.

Lani also went out of his way to make us feel entertained while respecting our privacy. He even shared a book with us where he and his family were featured for historically cooking through the ages.

Expect good traditional food and very reasonable prices.

Highly recommend to eat at this restaurant!! Lovely people and warm vibes, we felt at home and their service is excellent.

The location of the restaurant is charming, they have a cute little garden but inside it also has a warm atmosphere.

The qofte and stuffed eggplant (traditional food) were the best that we had in Albania and all the other food is amazing aswell.

We hope to see you again my friends!

Love from Moise & Lotte

Lovely taverna, family run. The service was very good and polite. Food was
perfect homemade dishes, quick to arrive, tasty and perfectly seasoned. We ordered many dishes to try and they were all good - sarma (dolme with wine leaves), qifqi (fried rice balls with herbs, divinely spiced), cofte, moussaka, stuffed aubergine, roast lamb, salad. It was all delicious. I would definitely come back.

Mr. Lani and his wife are amazing! We stayed in the village for 3 days and they made our days more special. It was awesome to get to know more about them and their life here. We came for dinner and came back the next day for some tea - they serve a nice tradional cinnamon-clove drink that tastes great! They also have a great selection of hugs and bags
Make sure you stop by!

Best meal we’ve had in 5 days in Albania. Tasty home cooked food at a reasonable price. The hand cut chips were the best we’ve had since leaving our home in Crete.
If you want honest, good value and unpretentious, this is the one to choose.
