Got bitten by a wild dog and was seen immediately by the lovely nurse. She cannot speak English but managed to understand the issue. She had a tetanus shot on site and administered straight away. She also did stitches well. Cost EUR40. Located within the local school on route to the church. Thank you!

Fell over on a hike and required stitches. The stitches were done really well and the wound kept clean and free of infection (confirmed by the hospital in Tirana). Very good service.

I've got a quite severe food poisoning and they treated it very well.

The small ambulance is located inside the school building. The nurse does not speak English at all. Only Albanian and a few words Italian. I knew exactly what medication I needed and had Someone translate it to her. Nevertheless she gave me 4 different things that had absolutely nothing to do with my condition and an older version of the medication that I really needed that is generally not used anymore due to resistencies that make it ineffective.
The ambulance is funded by initiatives and government so the treatment is free.

NEGLIGENCIA MÉDICA
Fui por una intoxicación alimentaria, al ponerme el suero fisiológico por vía intravenosa se equivocó y me lo puso por debajo de la piel... Esto me causo en la piel dolor, inflamación, perdida de movibilidad y etcétera. Aún tengo hematomas en el brazo una semana después. En ningún momento me pidió disculpas, sólo me insistió en que le pagará, le pedí que me hiciera un informe y una factura para justificarlo a mí seguro médico, me dijo que sí... Pero en el momento de darle el dinero por está mala praxis se lo escondió y no me dio ningún justificante. Es un centro sin ninguna higiene, no utilizo guantes, las sábanas de la cama estaban sucias de los anteriores pacientes...de las peores experiencias, tener mucho cuidado.

Fuimos por una intoxicación alimenticia y la mujer que había atendiendo intentó administrarle un gotero a mi pareja y le pincho la aguja en la piel provocándole una inflamación y posterior hematoma. A parte se veía el lugar bastante desastrado y desordenado, la mujer no utilizaba ni guantes entre pacientes ni para nada y para colmo cobraba lo que le daba la gana, a nosotros nos cobró 10€ por dejarnos peor prácticamente y a una familia que había antes les cobró 70€, cuando se negaba a darte ni un justificante para demostrar el pago y comunicárselo a tu seguro y encima se escondía el dinero enseguida. Nada recomendable por vuestra salud.
